Will this require an update after today's patch?

2.0.2 will just work.

However I'm gonna upload a new version later that adds the new divination cards. They are shown in 2.0.2 as well (all cards are by default), but some of them deserve to be highlighted.

Renaming the maps doesn't seem to mess up the filter, I dropped Labyrinth (now Terrace) from my stash and it properly highlighted and played the sound.

Good work.

Released 2.0.3:

2.0.3 (Diff)
  • Added a separate block (and toggle) for Iron Rings. This should make it easier to show them for recipe purposes. (thanks Shiva-)
  • Reduced the AlertSound volume for 5Ls from 250 to 175. (charon_hh asked me to say thanks to "the biggest hero of wraeclast")
  • Added further theme support entries (SetBackgroundColor) to the currency section.
  • Added new Divination Cards to their approriate blocks.

Hi and thanks for the great filter and the work.

i dont know if someone was asking this before, sorry if so, but only 4 linked (normal/magic) chromatic receipe (RGB) items are shown. 3 other 5 linked items are always hidden. what could that be?

and my seconds question, maybe u will find this omg! and maybe this is in relation to question 1 :), is it intented that the shown/highlighted items disappear after short time? is this maybe a wrong setting in my general options?
now (after longer fights) i have to press the alt key and seperate the loot manually, because all is shown while pressing the alt key.

thx 4 answering.

I'm sorry. I'm not sure what you're saying here. Chromatic items don't need to be 4L to be shown, just being "chromatic" is enough. For other items (normal & magic) a certain amount of sockets / links are required so not everything is shown.

Open the options panel -> UI and check "Always Highlight".

This is by far the best item filter on the web! Though I had to modify it to create 7 more filter levels, useful in fast-paced multiplayer games when I don't have time to take lower level items. I am always going to get this one after every patch now, thx! :-)

I noticed one thing tho: using Filtration I can't find the block that catches all other white-blue rings that doesn't correspond to other requirements. I had to edit the file with notepad++ to find it and make the catchall (found it in ring/amulet/belt section) hide all remaining blue-white rings/amulets/belts. This was the only way to succeed in hiding non-hidden white rings and such.

Default catch all setting for rings/amulets/belts:

[Line #1017]
Show #Amulets, Rings, Belts - ~CatchAll
Class "Rings" "Amulets" "Belts"
Rarity >= Normal
SetFontSize 28
SetBackgroundColor 0 0 0 200 #Dimmed Background

I have it set to hide all rarity <= Magic. That is not possible to do using filtration. Unless I'm blind for sure :-)

Thank you. It would be neat to have exportable settings for toggles through Filtration so you don't have to modify them after new versions get released (like theme support).

You should be able to use toggles for what you describe already, though:

# Show #Amulets, Rings, Belts - 84+ - Normal
# Show #Amulets, Rings, Belts - 84+ - Magic
# Show #Amulets, Rings, Belts - 75+ - Normal
# Hide #Amulets, Rings, Belts - 75+ - Magic
# Show #Amulets, Rings, Belts - 68+ - Normal
# Hide #Amulets, Rings, Belts - 68+ - Magic
# Show #Amulets, Rings, Belts - <68 - Normal
# Show #Amulets, Rings, Belts - <68 - Magic

Once you set the "<68" entries to hide, the CatchAll block shouldn't match anything anymore. It's just a safety fallback.

One more hint: The CatchAll block is considered "advanced" (indicated by the "~" sign in the title), meaning you need to enable the "Advanced Mode" in Filtration in order to use the toggle.

AH thx for the super fast reply :-) Now I understand better how you filter these better than activating CatchAll XD. OMG had to search on the web "how to activate filtration advanced mode" I would have never found it before you mentionned it existed! :-) Ok now I can see the CatchAll in filtration. THX MATE!!

Here's some error I found in "Rares - Endgame & Progression" section (advanced block):
iLvl65 Tornado Wand listed as 68,
iLvl68 Prophecy Wand listed as 70,
iLvl70 Profane Wand is missing (introduced in 2.0.0).

That leads me to a question: Why some items don't have an iLvl specified? For example iLvl59 Imbued Wand or iLvl62 Opal Wand.

That's not an error. You're mixing up drop- and itemlevel.

Droplevel = The level at which a certain basetype starts dropping.
Itemlevel = The actual level of the item that dropped (=the level of the mob that dropped it).

"

Change behavior based on zone level
[...]
Rare items are highlighted if their basetype is the currently highest available.
Example: You are in a level 21 zone and a rare "Recurve Bow" (DropLevel = 20) drops, it will receive a rare border to indicate that there is currently no better bow basetype available. Once "Bone Bows" (DropLevel = 24) become available because you moved to a higher zone, those will receive the border.

So from your examples:

DropLevel 65 Tornado Wand has a border until ItemLevel 68 (at which point Prophecy Wand is available)
DropLevel 68 Prophecy Wand has a border until ItemLevel 70 (at which point Profane Wand is available)

So the itemlevel line makes sure the item only gets the border until the next best basetype is available. Some basetypes (like Imbued Wand) are the best base for certain builds regardless if "better" (=higher droplevel) bases are available. So they don't have a limiting ItemLevel line and thus always have the border.

You'll find Profane Wands at the beginning of the Wands list in "Rares - Endgame & Progression". You may search for "#Gear - ~Rare - Endgame - Weapon - Wands - Profane Wand".
