" If there were only 3 viable supports for Arc right now, I could understand your assessment. But I'd guess that switching out Innervate + Inc. Duration for Added Cold/Lightning/Chaos would result in at least the same clear speed. Arc in its current state produces more shocks than any enemy can digest - so I can see more potential for Innervate when using it with something like HoI or on a culling ability of some sort. Crit happens.

Interesting gem.
I think it has some application, esp for builds that have a hard time getting shock/freeze/ignite. I assume the other two will be for freeze and ignite. Thou I do wonder. I was under the impression were going to be 13 new skill gems in total for this release, 2 of which were going to be support and the rest active. We've seen 8 so far, 2 were supports (fortify and bloodlust). So I was honestly expecting the remaining 5 to be active gems, not more supports. So if this gem, plus 2 more are support, and we already know 1 active (flame nova mine), then that only leaves 1 gem we don't know about. I feel like my hopes of seeing a new cold spell have been dashed. |
