Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

Ok, new idea, 120 passive points, 12 cards. Leveling to 100 gives you some kind of a reward/bonus :) Maybe the more cards you have, better the density in maps or something.

The card has the same name that an area in Act 4. My bet is that you have an event associated with a card, per area.
