RIP exiles everywhere... Solo no trading is a tragic idea. Have you heard of Diablo 3? Id be playing that if I didn't want to trade and wanted complete and total boredom. Most are probably going to be just as unsatisfied. Shouldn't the idea be to occupy our time with something we want, not make us more annoyed with another league we don't want to play while everyone else gets beta? Not really sure what focus group you used to make this decision...but... sigh. Really had my hopes up for something enjoyable to play :/ Why make us suffer with a league we clearly didn't want (after acknowledging that people wanted cutthroat/exiles everywhere)? Is it another kiwi troll or? Pls be joking. Gratz to all getting into beta. Sadly Im only able to leverage the thousands of hours I have played and not my bank account contributions to gain my entry. Personally i think they should have just approached individuals whom they know can test content properly, would have saved all this drama, since a beta is meant to be about fixing bugs/balancing/testing servers etc. Not about everyone doing the same thing, so far i have seen only a handful of streamers actually testing multiple things, willy for example - every day testing multiple things. Now with this 'buy in' it's just caused even more drama, doesn't matter if you have spent money on packs or on mtx, it still doesn't qualify you as a good beta tester. Streamers = publicity, what does average joe with some cash to blow bring? The timer was supposed to be there for transparency, yet all it has done is insight jealous rage. This is why you hire/invite pros not randoms ;/ For the record i am not saying i am pro or should be invited either, and yes I would love to be in the beta, but what I would love even more is for this to have all been handled privately by people who know what they are doing as to avoid yet another drama fest between the community. We will keep playing 8+ hours everyday. But all of these not changes the fact that this handled bad. Well it would have been impossible to hire than many poeple, that's why they are doing this beta. The streamers are there so that you can get a taste of the game before getting released and so that they promote the game. In any case I think we can't all be satisfied :P I think the real question though is, what are we going to do to not get bored before act 4 gets released. I think that's more important! On the other hand I think it's a good move to show "we didn't forgot you supporters". Even that I'm not 100% happy as mentioned above I feel my faith in GGG in general confirmed, and my purchase justified again. I love the concept art they sent out. I just hope that the other supporters will get in as well. As you see I also didn't start with the top tier pack, and I think some love for the other tiers would encourage ppl. to do it again. I think it's good that long time supporters can take a look into the beta. I'm pretty sure all supporters will try to share their beta experience at least with GGG and that's the important part isn't it? I know everybody wants to be in the beta but GGG already said why they are keeping the playerbase low at the start. #edit: When I speak about long time supporters I'm talking about people who play and support since the beginning!
