All of this would have been easier if GGG implemented some kind of 'Support' meter that reflects the TOTAL amount of money someone donated.

Could be something like that:

Lvl 100: Charan and all the other rulers
.
.
Lvl 54: User contributed something like 2K in his lifetime to PoE.

And so on. Many people contributed a whole lot to this project but did not get a diamond... In fact it is totally possible that someone contributed more than a diamond but does not have that diamond supporter banner.

The fact is, that everybody knows now, that paying much money to GGG provides additional advantages, besides of the in supporters pack listed goodies. Who knows, what kind of content will come up later in the future and maybe GGG would give free access to this advantaging content to T1 supporters first.. or to other supporters.

Thats how all "free-to-play" MMOs work: granting access to additional content to paying users.

Logic would dictate that there will be changes before release that no one from CBT (outside of developers) would be able to test out. These changes would be of no consequence - no advantage here.

If the state of the game at the end of CBT mirrors that of the actual release and/or certain CBT info remains the same as that of the release, do you actually believe that information would not be shared (if not already shared) by the time of release?

I mean seriously, all one needs to do is go reddit.

Experienced players who weren't able to ride the CBT train will have everything they need from tons of info sources to be able to do just fine. New players on the other hand wouldn't even care about the 'competition' right from the get go.

besides the fact the first 3 acts are pretty much the same... watching the streams act 4 is pretty straight forward like the first 3... where is the advantage.

also the fact things can be changed when act 4 goes live where the pay 2 win for that?

Once it's near complete, then the server will go live. Leaving us non-closed-beta players in the dirt with no knowledge whatsoever with content and most likely will be left strangling below the ladder; while the top streamers and top supporters/donator's ease their way up the ladder with knowledge from closed beta.

All of this is happening while we sit back in the dirt doing what they did 3 months ago while they're already ahead of the game.. It's a joke and unfair.

Everyone deserves access to closed beta for an equal level playing field at launch.

How can people be so hateful? I am so sorry for GGG that they have to take this unfair shit from so many ungrateful people.

P2W because certain people get CLOSED Beta Access EARLIER and others haven´t got in YET? That´s just ridiculous!

All the information which could be of benefit on the day of actual release is available on the forums, reddit etc.

The definition of PW2 is that you get actual gameplay advantages ingame via buying stuff (e.g. more xp, better gear, buff potions and so on). This is not the case here!

GGG is the fairest, most moral and ethical developer of a FREE TO PLAY game ever. That´s not fanboyism, that´s a fact.

You can enjoy all of the game´s content without paying a single cent.

A closed Beta remains a closed beta and some people getting access to it earlier doesn´t make GGG a bad, immoral company.

Some people should really question their attitude towards these hard working developers.

Being passionate about the game is nice, but this is just pure disrespectful hate.

прошло 2 дня и те кто получил ключи интерес потеряли к игре, это видно по стримам на твиче это не закрытая бета а клоунада просто. надо было сделать открытую и все были бы рады.

well, POE is at least a free to play game and this is a closed beta. you all defend POE in front of all this d3 and aother stuff players by your life. now we just have to wait for some more weeks and everyone is going crazy cause of that.

dont missunderstand me, i am looking forward to be chosen too (and i didnt donate hundreds of usd), but we are talking about the game we all wanted to play after blizzard didnt give a fXXX about players' wishes. and we are getting new contant every few months (at least for free).

and in the end... thats a lot of free stuff for me! so maybe calm down, watch streams and look foward to the release (which will be free too ;-)).
