Well i have over 900 hours and I dont got an invite now im scared

It doesn't matter how many hours played, how much money you spent, or when you signed up, its totally random.

Ah but it does..read their post says right in it....most experienced players were "randomly" chosen. It helps to read thigs and comprehend
Man i love GGG not only do they talk to the community about issues and current plans/Future,They also mean what they say that is so rare it is almost hard to believe.
Great job with the update.
I DO IT FOR THE BOOTY!

buddy, if you are into tear licking and you enjoy the QQ, i got some nice links to share. hell, just head over to D3 or any MMO and you are set.

Good point, I've played alot of D3 and MMO's, but I belive this amount of crying from people claiming to be adults beats most of what I've seen atleast. The sense of entitlement is taken to a new level. And then they start whining about GGG inviting streamers to get some visibility and free marketing. Its just absurd..

I used to think the PoE community was relatively mature, but I can see by the long set of whiny bitching, it's turned/turning sour. About half of these posts remind me of my 6 year old kid ("it's just not fair!").

Grow up folks.

More experienced players than new players have been invited so far, by a large margin

Aside from Alpha testers and streamers I thought the closed beta invites were random, are you suggesting brand new players have not been signing up for invites as much as pre-existing PoE players?

The tears coming from people that werent not selected is delectable lol

Seriously brush it off, the worse that can happen is that you gonna play in two months

Do something else of your life a small PoE break might do some goods meanwhile :)

How do you know they arent already doing greater things than your closed mind could possibly grasp?

Seem you feel insulted ! I'm sorry o_O

Otherwise to answer your question : Actually they might :P but the whining and the attitude indicate me that this may not be the case ;)

How does a message on a forum complaining about a beta process tell you anything about a person's daily life? Are you psychic or are you just a bit prejudiced? You seem to enjoy people's negative reactions and shedding light on how "whiney" they are, i guess that could tell me something about your demeanour and attitude or how you live your life but I don't judge.

Who cares? im fine getting the beta invite on friday ;)
no chris, you streamer attention you know what pleaser, you can't imagine how frustrating it is to be hyped up for a closed beta you don't have access to.

No , this game has an amazing community, in-game community experience has been top notch.

When developers make statements like "all accounts will have equal opportunity to enter the closed beta" and then say "we will invite certain streamers , contact bex if you have (one million)+ channel views" you tend to look inconsistent. We have no problem calling Chris out on his mistakes.

Want... so.... bad... Honestly, this explanation makes perfect sense to me; I can't think of a company that's more direct and transparent about their beta process, even in the world of small indies. Worth the wait.
