why do we all feel so entitled? what makes our individualism so unique that it is bound to be selected amongst the myriads of other applicants? does it matter if you have a supporter pack or you've only bought point packs for stashes/cosmetic items? besides certain people picking up a beta key due to certain favourable circumstances, namely streaming, this is exactly what it says on the tin. a CBT. it is Closed for various reasons that i will not list right now because i consider them self-explanatory. if you are all such hardcore players and supporters, then by definition you should have already come to terms with the RNG involved in PoE. why can't you apply the same logic to this CBT then and your chances of success? it is PoE afterall. consider the timer being a mini-game. praying to RNGesus and remaining faithful is all you need and can do. being salty isn't. summer is coming and with it ActIV. tl;dr version: you people have no balls. CBT > alchemy orb > chaos orb > Vaal it. only way to get in. |

Sitting in front of a desktop and ragging for a thing you can't change, will only cause you harm. You have few months of spare time! ^.^ With that time you could get jacked a lil bit in a gym. (If you're not yet) |

well,
looks like the sad story of one of the best games in steam, from the developing and community <-> dev´s side seen, which was so good and many other games could get a cut a slice from it, and the one stupid mistake, that nobody really understands ^^ or short: "How to definitely NOT release an Update/Content" xDD.... i mean, to be honest... (since i had much time) i´m still trying to get the clue why GGG came out to release the Patch/Content in that "strange" way...? well i have seen so many releases of long waited Games or new Content and the way to release them. And hell, there were sure some really weird ones, ones that made me laugh or cry or to make at least that face: o.O but respekt GGG, u added a new league XD okay but back to the reason, i mean there must be a reason for that cause i wont believe or better i cant believe u were all "totally-out-of-space-stoned" or didnt stopped drinking since u created act 4 ^^. Maybe it was a bet, to see how to get the most dislike-posts or the greatest shitstorm on a release xD. Well, fact is, it has to be something strange since a the logical reasonings doesn´t make much sense. Like the "new content & new game mechanics"-reason together with "the balance-fear"-reason. For both reasons you normally want more then less players to get a full and detailed impression of the added content. So then we have left the "Dont want to fuq the server up when everybody logs in at release"-reason as a logical reasoning and yeah, i have to admit the past has shown us more then once, this is a Fact which could be the Reason. But i think the past has shown us too, what will happen and how u can avoid such a thing, like a simple login queue. I mean a rational login queue, not an "one person after another with 5mins space between". Doesn't all make no sense for me.... Also, an absolutely strange thing is the random account picking part... ?! Why random? I mean, when i only want a certain number of players playing the new stuff, to test and give feedback and so. Why do i give that amount random away, to maybe accounts which doesn't even had played since start open beta or later. When i were dev, i would like to give that amount to players who will 100% play the stuff and can give some feedback. Especially when i still have something like a pool with "Supporting"-Players. From the fact, to maybe honor their "support" in the game with letting them test the new stuff before the "randoms", i won't even start to talk. Well, i personally find, as an "non-supporter" u should send all your Supporter an key asap, but thats my own opinion. The only thing what maybe was not bad with the new content, that it is free. Well, maybe only from the view of the gamer seen. I mean, for that im very thankful, all in all, im very thankful to GGG for an outstanding Free to Play Game and so. But i find thats nothing what is standart. And from the view of a developer, you could have made with that new content and all the stuff, sure some extra dollars. I bet, there where more then 50% from the guys who are now waiting to get a key, would have paid lets say 5 bucks to play at release. Me included.... Sooo, all in all .... i still don't have a logical reason. I think, u all smoked to much weed while making Act 4 in the "Ganja Grind Grounds" ;)). At least, maybe some day he or GGG can enlight us, how and why they came up with "that" :P damn, looks like i need a key....... ;) |
