The Closed Beta of The Awakening is live!

They don't want to give keys as a reward (except some to famous streamers for marketing purposes), they want to give keys to random people to get a pool as various as possible.
You tend to forget it, guys, but there are a lot of players who never post on this forum, and whose views may globally be different than the ones of the hard fans that you are. These are these people that GGG want to reach.
So heh, just wait to get a key, or not, the closed beta won't be as long as the one before 1.0 :)

I really hope that at least those keys are given to real player and not afk player for years or bots :S? That would be really painfull.

I think it's bullshit that people that has been an exile for 3 days can get invited. so much bullshit.

It really sucks I haven't gotten a Beta. I've been playing for like 3 or 4 months and have almost 900 hours into the game. I was really looking forward to playing Beta to try out all the new stuff and figure out how i'd build my main character up. But, seems unlikely so lets hope not a long wait until we all can play Act 4 and everything!

I really don't know if i wanna play the beta or not, cause it may spoil the finished experience. It kind of did when i was part of the early closed beta back in the beginning of POE. Right now i don't have to worry about it, unless the invite timer do the trick... i guess...

Well, on the plus side, I just got Monster Hunter 4, and the longer I fail to get a beta key, the longer I fight things as big as a house.

Blasphemy, every exile on that site that was linked on page 1 is younger than me, well ok there's only 100 people listed but still. 8th april 2012 cmon ggg, i'm one of your fan #1 guys, heck i'll even stream to sweeten the deal.

Anyway, good luck to everyone that still didn't get an invite and to those that did, have a lot of fun. I also won't be watching streamers as I don't want any more spoilers than the boss fight I saw where Jonathan? got his behind handed to him.
