It's not about an early access. It's about how GGG handled things. They've been pumping up the player base for months now. They made sure everyone was hyped for the expansion. And instead of an expansion we got a ridiculous timer to a closed beta. I have absolutely no intention in playing in the closed beta, but I believe GGG handled the player in the most unprofessional way possible. Instead of launching a marketing campaign, teasing the players and getting everyone on the hype train they should have come forward and admit "ok guys, we said act 4 is gonna be launched in April, but we fell behind the schedule and need to launch a closed beta for some time to make sure act 4 is gonna be as amazing as you want it to be". I bet there would be far less negativity on the forums. I guess they simply got in over their heads with the netcode and a general revamp. And I understand it, it's a tonload of work and they're working hard to release what they believe is going to be a finished product. Just don't run the hype train if you know you can't provide yet.

glad i didn't have to suffer long and was granted a key from someone back in 2011 and glad i was part of it. for people who didnt play game felt more harder back then then now and the updates were fairly often and so was the passive tree changes.

over the past few years cant believe how this game has changed to what it is now and can't wait to see what the future holds.

well done GGG AND HOPE I GET IN AGAIN THIS TIME :)

Amazing QOL, can't wait to see/play new content ! Loosing characters from time to time is really good in my opinion :)

sucks that some streamers will be Guaranteed a spot over everyone else though , not that fair in my opinion ohwell

Ugh, interesting to see that the beta isn't just "test our finished expansion for bugs/balance", but rather "the expansion isn't finished, test our current version and we'll add stuff as we complete it". WTF? :P

At the closed beta announcement, it sounded like the expansion was ready but needed final polish testing and feedback before release. What we have instead is an unfinished expansion! Basically the low end of the 6-8 week estimate is optimistic, and there's no way it'll be 3-4 weeks like i'd hoped if things went well, since the content isn't even done.

Still love GGG, but i am a tiny bit disappoint.

Also, signing up with multiple accounts wasn't disallowed anywhere, it's awkward to tell us this *after* everyone has signed up with all their accounts.

Will beta gameplay count for unlocking achievements?
