Cyclone crit calculation
Hello, I use cyclon to trigger coc and i want to try dual wield. So how crit works in cyclone while iam dual wield? crit chance is combined from both weapons or just uses mainhand weap? Thanks.

Pretty sure cyclone alternates or both at once (probably using highest crit chance). Wiki is your best friend.

The entire sequence will either crit or not crit, and I'm fairly certain that it will do so for both weapons.

wiki doesnt help me much ... everybody talks about dual wield cleave a dual strike but no cyclone :( but thanks for answer :)

When dual wielding, u hit with each weapon ones per spin. So i assume, crit will be calculated for each hit based on a weapons crit chance, with which u hit.
DW cyclone is only good, if u have 2 very similar weapons. If u have one significantly better weapon, it is better to use only it and shield. |

I want try MrsAmesterdams built for coc disch. with soultaker to avoid mana problem without using BM. Just for explain.

Each full spin, you'll hit once with each weapon (if not dual wielding, you'd hit twice with your one weapon). Like (almost) all skills, the crit roll is only made once for each cyclone action. This roll is checked each hit against your crit chance against the enemy being hit, which may vary based on the enemy's stats (such as if they're cursed with Assassin's Mark and thus easier to crit than other enemies), and the weapon (if you have weapons with different crit chances).
If your crit chance for certain hits is different than for others for these reasons, then it's possible for some hits to be crits and others not. | |
Thats the answer what i expected. Thank you a lot GGG :)

Just to make sure i got it right:
* crit is rolled once per action (cyclone activation/cast) per weapon. * each weapon is rolled separately so it could be none, one of the two or both weapons critting. * if nothing changes during that action, each weapon will either crit all or none of the hits from that single action. * if something changes during a single action, it can lead to some hits rolling a crit while others don't. By 'something' i mean either the player being affected by blind or curses like Enfeeble etc. or the target. Does that sound about right or did i misunderstand some points? 11.02.2013 - 11.02.2017: four year PoE anniversary!

" And all crits that fail to check against enemy evasion a second time will turn into regular hits. |
