Why is molten shell not nerf yet?
Melees tend to rush in and facetank everything.I mean almost every melee. Of course molten deals a lot of damage. But why nerfing something just because people are to lazy to use another tactic than rushing in and beat their opponents to the ground. It is no active skill you have to pop it.

" In lld you have a chance to legitimately remove it via ranged attacks or stall til it goes down on its own. Then you have a decent sized window to capitalize on this due to slow cast speeds of lld players. The skill still has 1/2-1hit kill power properly linked but in lld its not something you can instantly spam repeatedly as you're getting hit. In hld it has 1/2-1hit kill power, is super spam-able and you can't capitalize on is downtime properly. You need to chill/tc the caster at this level to slow it down, stall or pop it yourself then get into range (or you were in range the entire time eating spells doing 1/4-1/2 your life per cast). By this time its already been recast or in the process of being recast and it does damage instantly...instantly. It doesn't even need to be fully active yet for it to instantly kill someone on recast. Many many times have I had casters down to pixels of life/es, went to seal the deal and died instantly to just the thought of recasting the shell. Even after out playing these guys the entire game, that's it..1 button, instant kill. This is a skill that needs to be balanced separate for both lld and hld given the options at these levels. Cast speed, support options, spell damage modifiers and all other damage sources. GGG, the ADA of gaming....huuuur i gotz mai skilz. What you said about HLD applies to LLD too. 0.3 seconds longer cast time doesn't make it any different.

" Best universal tweak would be a cooldown then, no? Thing is how do you apply a cooldown to a skill that has a duration already? A duration that can vary anywhere from instantly removed to 10seconds up time. GGG, the ADA of gaming....huuuur i gotz mai skilz.

We're literally doing 90% of the work of planning the rebalancing of these skills in these forums, and I bet they nerf some other skills instead. Double strike was too OP, burning arrow, POISON ARROW ooh nerf incoming.
