Why is molten shell not nerf yet?

Have not played alot LLD myself to give a valid opinion, but I agree with you, it still does damage thought it might not be as much that others seem to believe(LLD Only)

It's one of those easily-dodgeable mechanics if you're paying attention, and not just namelocking and spamming your attack. Sorry if everything that you can't just walk through and tank feels overpowered.

I have actually facetanked all molten shells I've fought, with the exception of Shitruler's low life molten, which I can just bear trap / kite while waiting for expiry.

For LLD possibly, try that in HLD though

Molten shell is much weaker in LLD. The lack of conc effect, and less fire penetration makes a big difference.

As someone else said, it's really only viable with a low life, EE setup like Shitruler's.

idk man, even full life seems very abusive to me.

Molten shell can get pretty ridiculous indeed. It's funny how my duelist/ranger with 0% increased damage deals like 40% dmg of 1,5k hp by just linking it with fire pen and +3. Now imagine that with 300% spell dmg and maybe some curses+EE. It's actually a one shot spell.

I think anyone underestimating the power of molten shell haven't explicitly faced good geared/focused molten shell users.
