Hello!

I've been using this build with quite a success, doing t15 and t16 maps with little problems. But, there is a lot of random one-hit deaths (probably mostly my fault), fairly low boss dps and clearing things that are not random monsters takes quite some time. Where should I go with upgrades to get best gains? I'm sitting at about 20ex atm.

Gear (maybe switching gems for higher levelled or alternate quality?), levelling for one or two more passive points to invest in cluster jewel? I will be grateful for any suggestions.

Here is my link, character is the bottom one: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/farfast/characters

You've done a really good job with your character. Looks to me like you have 3.9m sustained sDPS: https://pastebin.com/9KQdjMCG
And 5.4m with RF running (not sure if you're doing this regularly or not).

Overall suggestions (totally subjective on my part):
1. Additional sources of increased mana recovery rate will help you with both damage and especially survivability. Try to craft a belt with the Redeemer mod. If you don't know how, good advice is available here and probably with a quick google search, too. With your budget, I think it's time to upgrade Tempered Mind to Transcendent Mind, refund the Heart of Thunder points, and use them to path to the Templar's starting point.
2. Invest in a better large cluster jewel with 3 good notables and only 8 total passives.

Some suggestions for damage:
1. Most importantly, I bet your Elemental Overload isn't procking consistently. Keep an eye on it during mapping and bossing to see if I'm correct. If I am, getting additional increased spell crit--weapons with t1 affixes and/or running a secondary damage spell is/are easiest way(s)--will help your average sustained damage quite a bit.
2. Get to the point that your mana recovery can comfortably sustain regular RF in a neutral environment (i.e. without conditional buffs and detrimental map mods).
3. Ditch life flask, it probably wouldn't even save you at this point. An Atziri's Promise will give you a decent damage boost with no perceptible loss in survivability.
4. Mindfulness is trash, use a Scintillating Idea jewel instead.
5. Start working on some awakened gems for the Arc setup.
6. Leaving the numbers game aside, I don't think Sigil is great for this (maybe any) build. It's a 3L setup that requires you to restrict your movement drastically to get any benefit from it, making you sacrifice survivability for damage. I think you're better off with some kind of setup that gives you Culling Strike.

Survivability:
1. Keep in mind that having low mana is usually what leads you to getting 1-shotted.
2. I really think you need to aim for 3k life minimum--3.5k is ideal--to avoid frustration with constant 1-shots. Definitely take Devotion, since you're already there, and spend more points in the Constitution wheel.
3. Get your mana above 10k.
4. Swap in quartz flask for sulphur flask. It stacks well with Omeyocan.

Occasional 1-shots are a part of life with this build almost inevitably, but you can definitely avoid the vast majority with proper planning and playing. Upping your damage output and mana recovery will help a lot on their own.

First of all, thank you very much for the detailed answer, which is very helpful for me. It reminded me about some things I was going to do and forgot on the way, like upgrading my large cluster jewel or getting rid of life flask. It also brought my attention to some things I didn't really think about, like critical chance for elemental overload. It didn't work almost at all. I've got a wand with critical chance buff and picked one more 25% cc passive and got it to proc pretty much all the time. Spent most of my currency on this upgrade (still looking for second wand with high mana for the curse trigger suffix) and on gems - awakened support gems help quite a lot. Running RF all the time is taxing on my mana, but can be done, I didn't really do this before unless needing some additional damage.

Got three questions, one of which was asked already:
- Why is a scintillating idea better than mindfulness, assuming that I can get get one and the other or two scintillating ideas (they are supposed to stack, google says so)
- What would be a good way to get culling strike in place of the sigil? It can be obtained as a gloves mod or a gem that needs to be linked to an offensive skill, right?
- How is transcendent mind so much better than tempered mind? In my understanding it would grant me a grand total of 8% increased mana recovery rate, which for this price is little gain. Am I missing something?
Hello
I'm playing with an aura bot and clearly I have a big mana regen problem. The aurabot gives me so much cast speed that I'm still mana-free, and I'm playing without the agnostic.
Do you have any ideas to improve this. For me or for the aurabot.
I had made a arc a few years ago and I love the skill, I wanted to try it in its Arckmage version. I am a little disappointed, this mana problem bothers me, it is a little painful. I preferred the version without arckmage, maybe that's what you have to do, quit arckmage and turn to the reviewer. I would like to make this version work correctly.

Wow! so i finally found an upgraded weapon worth splurging on and a watcher's eye, i would say 80% of the time my mana doesn't even blink from full

but i think you lose damage compared to other weapons with spell damage %, flat lightning damage, or elemental damage %....

so my question is, did you lose damage?

played with a couple of aurabots doing chayula runs, maybe around 5 rounds of that, don't seem to affect the build in anyways, still survived without any problem, no mana regen problem, no damage reduction issues.....

Path of Building had it as a 4.6% increase

I have no problem of defense, with an aurabot + an HH is very good. My main problem is the attack. It remains weak I find against the bosses (canyon T15) and I have to wait for my mana regen. This is my biggest problem. For clear it is very good.
I followed this guide and the passive skills, My current lvl is 86.
But I have low Dexterity:58 and strength:95. So I can't lvl up the green and the red gems, like golems and vitality

Can anyone please tell me what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

I've been having a blast with this build. I've managed to down shaper for the first time (using 6 portals, mostly avoidable death...) and the elder deadless. I'm struggling with Sirus and the more physical damage boss (minotaur).

I feel my mana sustain isn't always very good (can't do RF and spam arc) and I'm not sure about my boss damage... could someone be kind enough to check my character and give me pointers on what to improve? I'm currently looking for a useful watcher eye to replace the one I've dropped and I guess next would be cluster jewel.

https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Cyprien/characters I think it's my only character on ritual league "Celestine_" :-)

Best,
Cyprien

Also look into purchasing Atziri's Foible amulet. Among it's other stats needed for this build it reduces attribute requirements for gems and items by 25%.
