I reported this as a bug like 20 mins ago, hextouch doesnt appear to be working with Trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill, so if youre losing damage in fights that might be it.

"Eventually we want Trigger a Socketed Spell when you use a Skill on one of our weapons to automate Wave of Conviction and Conductivity. With this setup, we also switch Hextouch to a Level 1 Blade Blast for Unnerve. This suffix can only be unveiled from map tier 6+ loot and crafted with the Crafting Bench once unlocked, so you don't have to buy one with it already crafted."

It's in the guide under the gear section.

hello
i am totally new to poe :) i tried my first playthrough several years ago but failed miserably.

Now i found that awesome guide and made it through act10.

I Love that build but i got really bad mana issues since i got my 6L chest.

Can somebody help me what can i improve?

Thanks a lot

1. Buy a cheap wand with spell damage and mana modifiers with open suffix, then ask someone to craft "Trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill". You literally lose half your dps without this and lots of mana regen form ascendacy. Casting wave of conviction manually is cumbersome. You can find people offering crafting services in The Forbidden Trove discord, it should cost you a few chaos. This should be your number one priority after getting to the maps
2. Get an Mind Drinker anointment on your amulet. It's also very cheap, but gives you a lot of mana regen on maps
3. Buy required unique jewels, they are also not expensive but increase your mana regen substantially
4. Get the essence worm ring and put Wraith aura on it, it's cheap and will free your reserved mana pool.
5. Scale life and mana on rare gear. Buy a proper rare intelligence-based 6l, they are very cheap this league (20-25c atm). Craft life and mana on it with some cheap essences
6. Buy Atztiri's foible, it's getting cheaper
7. Buy a small cluster jewel with mindfulness, it also costs a few chaos.

You shouldn't have any mana issues when you get these upgrades, at least while mapping. Then save up for 6l Cloak of Defiance and in the meantime upgrade your rare gear and gems.

Thought I'd share my current build in case anyone here needs some pointers. Thius is probably around 1-1.5 EX worth of stuff, so not hard to get at all. Actually the annointment on the amulet is one of the most expensive things of the whole build, surprisingly. Obvious upgrades from here on would be a better wand that would self-cast the debuffs, better gloves, etc.

I decided to try the mark of shaper ring, I'm liking it so far, make sure to get an elder ring for your 2nd slot to activate the +spell damage.

What do you think about dropping Orb of Storms, moving the Vaal RF there, and putting Innervate on the Sigil?
Is a ice golem really better than a lightning golem ? or is EO not reliable enough without ice golem ?

Hmm yea that could work pretty easily, I don't really remember using orb of storms since levelling anyway.
If you go and get The Agnostic, do you keep Vitaly?

Yes, vitality aura reserves just a fraction of our entire mana pool because it's not percentage based like most auras. There is no point in skipping vitality in mana stacking build

Oh wait..... Sigil can't use Innervate. Innervate would have been good on Orb.... that would get Shock on the mob, while we nuke with Arc. But Sigil doesn't do anything but buff, so it can't place Innervate on the mob. Meh. Is the buff from Sigil better than Orb w/ Innervate?

When am I supposed to drop Orb of Storms?

I noticed that it doesn't say to stop using it in the leveling guide nor is it mentioned in the final gem setup.

Yup, I made a note about that, second part of that post, which can give you some "that's probably what we're supposed to do" kind of guidance ;)

Whats going on with vaal arc ? it feels like the skill is broken ?! did someone report to GGG ???
Vaal Arc is trash now, don't use it.
They reduced number of chains, and it is not supported by spell echo and archmage.

It's already been mentionned in this thread, but I'll copy part of the "one week into league" announcement:

"

Vaal Arc is not chaining correctly
This should be resolved in our next restart patch.

So yeah: Vaal Arc broken, GGG know about it, gonna get fixed soon-ish !-)

Oh, and by the by, from leveling section of Act 4:
"
‣ Get Hextouch in Highgate and link it to Wave of Conviction
‣ Get Conductivity in Sarn Encampment and link it to Wave of Conviction

I picked the Conductivity as a quest reward… during Act 2, I guess? Since I had largely enough gem space on my gear, and there was no other useful reward for that quest, I picked it at that moment, if only to start leveling it a bit — I soon lacked slots in my action bar to keep casting it separately.
