Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page
Good belt and you've got a decent Diamond Ring. The Sapphire ring I would try to replace, because the life rolls is really low. Resistances are EZPZ as an Elementalist, get a good life and damage roll on that ring and build off of those. Amulet isn't too bad but work on that crafted life roll.
Red maps with 4k health is a reeeallly tough thing to ask. What's your level? You might have to hold off on really challenging content until you get another couple hundred life and ES. If you're having trouble staying alive, I'd ditch the diamond flask for a life flask. You can try a hybrid flask for no regen maps, just make sure it's an instant ("Bubbling/Seething" affix) flask. Witches don't have a ton of life normally, and anything less than quick recovery won't help you survive a mob. |

Hello I'm also a newb. In the Bossfights section, what does "1m sustained Shaper DPS" mean?

is a good league starter guys for 3.10? :/

Today I tried many builds. My last currency ended here!. I don't recommend this build unless you want to farm low tier maps or something, re-stated my lvl 92 necro to make this elementalist and bought lot of items.. i got 1 shoted by random mobs in T16 maps tried 2-3 times more and then i closed the game...
grateful that the league is over. POB: https://pastebin.com/VqcGdvcB |

" Well, compared to the Necro's defences, we're more squishy, so you have to adapt your playstyle. However, I can run juiced up T16 maps without problems as long as I am mindful of the mobs around me and their damage types (esp. hard bosses, Metamorphs, Legion encounters, etc. can one shot you, true) and try to avoid hairy situations by positioning well. Other than that, I rarely die - but you have to pay attention all the time to survive. Last edited by rainmeadow on Mar 8, 2020, 7:34:59 AM

" https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Eldritch_Battery Do I understand that right? Energy Shield no longer protects life, doesn't that mean that will make the build way squishier? " Not sure how much you are asking but: Shaper is one of the endgame bosses and this means dealing 1 000 000 damage to him per second I have no idea how that's measured though Last edited by Wissle on Mar 8, 2020, 9:26:37 AM

" Well yes i can understand that we are squishy playing this, but it doesnt compesate with dps.. we have low dps and low life.... i mean you can't even clear that fast t16 maps because it takes more than 1 cast to kill a magic mob (not even a rare one) Last edited by IdoItForHer on Mar 8, 2020, 9:53:59 AM

@Beazy
Your gear is quite not ready for high tier AL8 farming. Chest has no life at all, one of your rings only has very low life and none of your jewels have any life. Fixing those can already easily give you another 600-800 life.
You're also missing Assassin's Mark on Hit on ring and Spellcrit Chance on chest, that plus the Diamond Flask you ditched for now will result in prett y low crit rate, or translated into mapping situations the enemies will have more time to hit you. Gain Life as ES craft on chest and Glorious Vanity would give lots of ES too for even more hitpool. Although, the league is almost over and setup changes for next patch, so it's likely not worth investing into the current setup any longer.
@wrayk
Sustained Shaper DPS is something you can check in Path of Building. Specifically, it means DPS calculated towards Shaper/Guardians with only the buffs you can keep permanently, or near permanently up.
In addition to that, you can also activate all buffs you can realistically get during those fights to see your burst DPS.
@ExcaliburPrim3
It has potential synergy with Delirium mechanic, but only time will tell how good it ends up in that league.
@IdoItForHer
Not surprising, Ambu's Charge isn't meant for AL8 T16 mapping and I thought referring to it as a nice starter unique clearly points that out. Your flask setup is also very questionable, and I see you got A Glorious Vanity but aren't actually using the keystone we want from it. A Lv21 Arc should've also been in your budget. You're basically using a setup that's meant for mid tier maps transistioning to high tier maps, so that is exactly what you can do safely.
All that said, it's not very fair to compare anything against the broken thing that the currently popular summoner setups are. Everything will look pale in a direct comparison with all things considered.
@Wissle
EB MoM, plus getting 1-2 defensive auras.
----------- About Arcane Cloak and Archmage: While i'm still waiting for actual numbers and patchnotes, these will very likely not make it into the setup. The investment needed to get enough returns and make it work reliably seems to high, especially for Archmage with a spammable spell. That's more something for spells you only cast once in a while, such as Tempest Shield or Storm Brand. twitch.tv/enkivt

Hello, some fantastic information contained in this thread and I certainly appreciate all of the information and advice that is contained here.
This is my second season and I set a couple of goals for this season the first being level 90 and the second was to complete all of the labyrinth levels. I have been stuck at 89 for several weeks now with my character feeling a bit too squishy and my DPS not high enough to take down the level 4 map bosses. I did manage to beat the last lab level but when I changed my spec to the 3.10 build I felt I lost quite a bit of DPS but did feel a little less squishy. I have about 5 exalts to spend and would appreciate any advice to make it to level 90 and maybe get to and beat the first end game map boss? Thanks Last edited by Ordman on Mar 8, 2020, 1:39:40 PM

I was just testing damage rolls on an amulet I am crafting:
I know it will be slightly different for everyone but its probably close, and I found it interesting. Start Damage: 178,367 Prodigal Projection + 12,103 +1 all Lightning gems +11,570 = 189,937 +1 all intelligence gems +11,470 = 189,837 35% crit multi +11,490 = 189,857 10% cast speed = +8,156 = 186,523 1 dmg per 15 intel = +5,725 = 184,092 36% crit strike = +5,280 = 183,647 25% spell damage +5,303 = 183,670 25% Lightning damage = +5,112 = 183,479 Last edited by Zeeul on Mar 8, 2020, 6:14:13 PM
