Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary
" I have bought base for 3 ex and rest crafted on table. I was unaware I am not able to craft +30% chance to double damage when focused on it. I simply believed that Enki had base and crafted rest, but it seems, he had two modes, after crafted, and at the end he exalted and was lucky. The other staff with +1 and +2 to gems is ok. You can buy base and as its on the picture and continue with crafting. Now I would buy +3 to gem staff and put +3 modes and craft what is needed and after exalt it, as +30% double damage does more damage than all mine crafted modes together according to Path of Building. +1 with +2 is stonger staff for arc. gl Last edited by Rexeos#3429 on Jan 13, 2020, 2:42:58 PM

Regards question if older was better than newer.
Older was better for leveling because of survival ability, this one is better for bosses. Neveertheless I suggest for leveling get knife + shield, whirling blades for movement and forget about hard bosses fihghts. Play poorjoys asylum - if its still possible in this atlas. I leveled this way to lvl 100. With whirling blade you should have under control movement and not to dive into some horrible scenarios. Shavrones ES based build shold do the trick. This new build is not good for leveling when you are high level. gl Last edited by Rexeos#3429 on Jan 13, 2020, 2:40:55 PM

What slots do you recommend getting strength on, to equip Agnerod?

I just respecced into the new build with a decent character (lvl 92, 2 6Ls, about 15-20 exalts worth of gear).
Played half an hour, died 3 times, once to ele reflect... Arc damage slightly worse, damage against bosses noticably better, thanks to storm brand. However, bosses also have more potential to kill me, especially when my flasks are down and I cant leech from them. I still have soul tether, but unless I use aztiri's the leech is not enough. I'll probably get a high energyshield belt and Doryanis as the belt as the belt frees up some resistances. Flame dash feels only slightly better than leap slam, the cooldown is a little annoying. I have mana problems, I run out of mana casting arc continuously, though this only noticable while face tanking bosses. Which i shouldn't be doing anyomore anyways. To me the old build felt better to me, due to the tankiness. New build feels more finicky and fragile. Skill ceiling is higher, so maybe it'll grow on me in the next few days. Haven't done any elder slayers yet, but now that my EXP is gone anywas, I might as well. I'm fine sitting at level 92, so maybe ill just accept dying and start enjoying the higher dps on bosses, letting take on the endgame. Last edited by iskalla1#6898 on Jan 13, 2020, 3:13:20 PM

I tried the new setup a bit. So far life / ES sustain feels bad without reliable leech and soul tether. Will play some more tomorrow, maybe I need to adjust play style and update some gear. I was too lazy to trade yet.

Early thoughts after a few T15 and T16 maps and the snake conquerer. It is still a lot of fun to play.
I dont understand people saying that they have to change a lot of gear and gems. For me it does not feel much of a change at all. Respec some passiv tree points, recolor some items and get another belt. It feels a bit faster on the gameplay side. Flame Dash has better feedback than leap slam and at least for me (or my computer) it works better, cause its response feels more directly. More damage; (blue) groups are poping faster, even yellow ones sometimes one shot. Bosses die faster (single dps) but i dont use wave of convinction yet, cause i dont think i am gonna like to have my 2nd weapon for actual using. Cant level gems any more :P I dont miss leap slam and fortify at all. About defense; i am having mixed feelings yet, i am missing that fast refill of our energy shield but something is making me curious. I can not tell any difference between wearing soul tether or wearing no belt at all after the changes. Sometimes i lose some hp and es but nothing to worry about, sometimes i just survive with some hp just like before the changes but i dont die more often or less often as before. My exp still moves around from 0% to 20%. I am not sure yet to say its tankier or anything else. I die same kind of deaths like before. Instantly by metamorph or something else i dont see coming fast enough or lacking my own movement but thats my own bad. Golems still dying sometimes. Maybe i will swap the chaos golem for the flame or ice one. I cant tell if those 4% physical damage reduction had saved my life or not. I am looking forward to to use this unique amulet "aul's uprising" but its not that cheap. Cause there a people having mana issues. Maybe a watches eye with -5 to -10 mana cost while using clarity helps you out. They are pretty cheap. |

SO i think i've settled on mostly sticking with the old build.
I've made some gem changes that I think will help though. I have Wave of conviction with CoH conductivity together with steelskin, arcane surge and increased duration in my other 6l. I have 3 golems together with meat shield the other golem on it's own with zealotry and clarity and then leap slam + fortify with herald + crit are there any major flaws to this setup? i definitely think I like flame dash more than leap slam, but the lack of fortify worries me as I feel it really helps me to speed through trash mobs without too much worrying. is there an equivalent survivability gem i could pair with flame dash? I guess glorious vanity will be a must have to release some pressure from the somewhat weak ES leech and to fully utilize energy leech and life regen at the same time. Damage would be spread evenly between HP and ES working similarly to what mind over matter would do, except it is a 50-50 split. Unless I misunderstand the concept.
I don't have the jewel yet, but curious to know how it performs in action. |

Thanks for this build. Works for me very well. Sometimes I have problem with mana when fighting when there is no minions around boss. I changed everything from older versior to this version. Heralds, clarity and zealotry reserve a lot of mana.
