Hi @Enki91! Really enjoying your build so far. I have a few problems that I keep running into. I have no problems clearing T16 maps barring a few crazy mods.

I always die as soon as my golems die. Which happens very often on the end-game bosses that deal a lot of phys and chaos damage. Whenever I try to recast them is when I get one shot.

My eHP pool is 6.5k but 2k energy shield is down if I am fighting a boss and my golems have died. What do you suggest?

Here's the link to character:https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/skaa/characters

Thanks again!

Yes, the golem buffs are really huge in the build right now, so keeping them alive is absolutely critical, especially the lightning one, since your mobility flatlines as soon as it's gone.

So a very simple quick fix for your problem is Primordial Harmony. 2%/second golem life regen is really huge.

The other solution is more obvious: you need your armor 6Led. That 6th link (Empower or Minion Life) will absolutely have a big impact on golem survivability. I like Empower most because of the buff enhancement, but Minion Life is better for straight-up golem survivability.

Thank you for taking the time! I was checking out Primordial Harmony and came across Anima Stone. Doesn't Anima Stone fit perfectly in this build? Or has it already reached point of diminishing returns in terms of it's value for this build?

Yes, in my opinion! I personally use Primordial Chain, Anima Stone, Primordial Eminence, and Primordial Harmony for a total of 9 golems because you get huge returns on all of the golem buffs (especially with Empower in the setup). You also get even more minions to distract enemies. You do lose the amulet and 3 jewel slots, which is a big tradeoff in terms of life, resistances, and stats, but think of it this way: with Empower in Enki's recommended golem setup, Liege of the Primordial, and Elemancer, each extra golem we have gives us:

5% increased attack and cast speed
2.5% additional physical damage reduction
16% increased global crit chance
10.5% increased damage

So Anima Stone on its own gives you all of that. That's pretty amazing for just one jewel, right? And how about an amulet with 15% attack and cast speed, 7.5% phys reduction, 48% crit, and 31.5% increased damage? You're losing some potential life, but the damage mitigation makes up for it, in my opinion. The other two primordial jewels between them provide golem life sustain and the above per-golem stats at 80% of the stated values each, which still are very strong jewel stats. Again, you are forgoing life in favor of physical damage reduction, but I think it's worth it, especially if you can somehow squeeze some chaos resistance onto the rest of your gear.

As Enki would say, it's all about opportunity cost. In my opinion, after trying both ways last league and this league, it's worth it to be able to fly around a map with Lightning Warp at breakneck speed and push 40% physical damage reduction (with Soul of Steel anointment). But there are other good approaches, of course; it's to some degree about your personal preference.

Hi all.

Been having fun with the build, returned to the game and having limited time been doing some low tier maps, doing some delving and exploring content for the moment.

Had a pretty lucky drop of 1 Exalt while I was delving and want to invest it into the character, with what I have saved up I have like 1.5-2 Exalts worth of currency if I sell some things.

What would be the best improvement I could make with that budget?

This is my current gear, I'm lvl 81 atm:

Much appreciated

Definitely a 6L staff, Assassin's Mark ring, and boots with 80+ ES and 30% movement speed.
Thanks for the build Enki91, Today defeated Sirus with this build at the first encounter, bit of luck because end phase 3 beam one-shots so fast but won on last portal. only difference is that i still continued to use the Orb of Storms(just like the play style and feels like a little more DPS). it's really a fun build but only the one-shots this league are sometimes frustrating but most content is doable with a little luck and patience. looking forwards for the next build.

'Fixed a bug which caused Metamorph bosses to become unfreezable. They can once again be frozen, however they have a higher ailment threshold relative to map bosses with similar amounts of Life.'

This is in the new patch notes. Does this help with metamorph fights? Hopefully. I can't really tell if me not freezing metamorphs was due to a bug, or just their insane life.

'Adjusted The Awakener Storm and Desolation skills to do less damage to minions.'

Should also help but don't know about this one, never fought the guy.
Not sure if it's been discussed, but do we have any alternatives to leap slam? Why can't we use flame dash? Doesn't FD do damage to trigger fortify as well? It was a lot smoother and faster than leap slam while I was leveling.

One issue I have with leap slam is if I'm facing one direction, but want to leap in the opposite direction, there is a delay because the character is physically having to rotate a bit to start the leap slam animation and that gets me killed(rarely, but still).

Thanks

@WorderMostFoul 9 golems absolutely sounds like a dream, but I fear it's going to hit my life pool quite a bit. Just out of curiosity what your current life pool? And are you still using soul tether for it's increased damage while leeching?

Few more questions:
1. How are you handling end game bosses especially the ones that one-shot you. I fear a low enough life pool is a guaranteed death sentence. There's only so much damage that can be negated right? Or is it that you try and avoid almost all of the damage as much as possible?

2. I see that you've allocated Practical Application as opposed to Prodigal Perfection. Is this just to save a passive point? (Am I even looking at the right character?)

3. How are you sustaining golems? If they do end up dying it's kind of annoying to cast them while trying to dodge everything on screen. Are you proactively casting golems when they are about to die?

Thanks again!

and has it to be a staff with block? What about global crit as implicit?
