What should the design goal of the community designed unique be?

Provide additional effects for stacking Armor and/or Evasion

Not really sure why projectiles are winning here... There are already so many things that are done with projectiles via support gems. Give defense a chance!
an ethereal effect would look very cool for say an evasion character, kind of like saffels shield
LOL at ideas copied from D3 ... let's involve the community and act as if the game is fine with no issues, and design and release a unique item that will be cool at release and get nerfed a month later.

OK let me think how about

An item that makes melee good

An item that turns oneshots into a reduction of 80% of hp / es automatically

An item that absorbs RMT'd gear in public games from the rmter's inventory and transmutes it into free exalts distributed evenly through every clean player's inventory
Know how you hate getting thorns with an exalt? Or accuracy as a caster?

How about something that turns that crap rng in your favor!


-30% chaos resist
-Each instance of reflect grants 30 life
-Gain 1 reflect for every 100 points of evasion
-Each instance of accuracy increases non-attack damage by 10%
-Gain 1 accuracy for every 100 armor
-Each instance of reduced requirements grants 20 to each attribute

Almost forgot life regen!
-For each instance of life regen reduce the duration of debuffs by 15%

0.5% isnt winning...
I vote for Armor/Evasion

belt generic

+2% max life for every 1ooo armor
+1% to dodge (attacks and spells) for every 2500 evasion
+5% to no criticals melee attacks damage(elemental and phisical) for every 2500 armor
+1% to chance to pierce for every 500 evasion

something like this maybe :D
Voted for AR/EVA bonus coz melee is the most penalized style of game, though I would have liked allies/minion boost too.
Critical is just ok as it is, and I could say the same for projectiles so we people shouldn't waste our great chance to create a new useful unique item :)
