Interested, getting 5/8 seems much harder now.

Not imho, unless you just don't have time to invest. But notwithstanding that, 5/8 is easy

1. Three classes to 85, that's just a grind.
2. Vendor recipes, just follow this: http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Vendor_recipe_system
3. Strongboxes/shrines/exiles you should be able to find while levelling three characters to 85. If not the shrines one (most difficult part of this challenge), you can likely find people selling them.
4. Master missions, again something you'll complete while levelling three characters.
5. Full clear, this is easy as well, with the possible exception of Apex/Vaal Temple, but if you plan ahead and for a build that can kill Atziri, you can plan your second or third character to be able to do those two zones.

So basically, with a bit of planning, you'll get 5/8 pretty much just by working on three builds.

Yeah. In domination when shrines were first introduced, you could actually sell a divine shrine find for the challenge completion. That's why I brought that up.

No one is using that recipe since fragment was always worth more on the market than vaal orb.

Except the corrupted map bosses being able to drop fragments changed that, especially for when you corrupt twinned maps that already had multiple bosses to begin with (Museum, Bazaar, Courtyard, etc).

Six bosses all with a chance to drop corrupted fragments. Potentially 6 frags for one vaal orb.

It could be that 6 boss map drops 0 fragments. It is of course worth to corrupt multiple boss maps but you want them to be doable. Fragments still sell for more than vaal orbs. Although now they are about the same price.

oops,the maps
Looks like rather easy challenges, fun but not impossible.

a) no *reach lvl 8 with all masters* grind required
b) Magnus isn't even on the list of exiles to kill ...

time consuming? yes, as it should be.

a lot more entertaining than Beyond/Rampage challenges? I'd say so, but that's just my opinion.

can't wait :)

Well, the central disadvantage to the recipe is that the gems you might have to use are worth more than the vaal orb, i.e., vaal grace and discipline early league are 3+ chaos each.

Personally what I do during dom runs: since carto boxes are actually much more common in regular content than they are in maps, I keep a couple vaal orbs for the carto boxes I might find during dom runs, while scouting the middle floor for corrupt zones otw to Dom. Most of those cartos will drop 10+ maps. It's basically a three-for-one move: 1) dom run 2) potential corrupt zone 3) potential corrupt maps for more frags.

Very efficient way to profit.
