You cant argue with Krillson, fishing is pretty great. As he says

I think the doubters need to go back and do some more research.

One doesn't simply just "find a rod" and "fish" in Wraeclast. It takes serious research, an understanding of the mind of a creator, and even when you know what you're doing, you still need a lot of patience (and a decent high level fishing spec character, ofc).

If I was trying to work out how to find a rod, I'd PM the people who had posted verified ones on the forum, and ask them where they found it, what they had in their inventory at the time, and what kind of helm they were wearing. I would then ignore any answers that involve Coward's Trail as that's known to ignore normal drop requirements. I have a pretty stronk feeling that all the people who found them outside of coward's trail had something in common, whether they were aware of it or not....

As someone already pointed out on a previous page, this idea is dependent on the person proposing the theory giving two shits whether anyone else believes it or not. If he's already proved it to himself and been able to reproduce it, why would he care about convincing you? And consider this: What if fish are limited and there's a finite cap on the number that can be caught in any 63 hour period serverwide? Would it make sense to make it easy for the competition, or let them keep believing there may not even be a competition at all? I'm just trying to find the right balance.

Wrong, I care about helping those who already know it's real. The naysayers can go through their entire lives without ever even catching a single fish for all I care.

The only use of the fishing pole is when you kill a white roah with it, you have a chance to get the white roah special event (he explode and give you a loot explosion of unique items)



there was a bug where this event could append without the rod, it could also spawn items that can t be spawned out of certain league or maps.


I am sure the new Krillson guy quest is not finished and will probably be linked to the roah event.

Can some1 pretty please give me a link to a topic with details to start fishing? Because in this topic all I see are bullshit lame excuses why there is no proof/details, the best being ‘I don’t need to give proof, I know it is real’ (yeah sure, try that in court).
