You think this build could be used for MF in the new league?

How would it compare to an ice crash MF build?

Shadow is almost identical. You have only 2% less ele dmg on first node and faster casting nodes on shadow are 4% instead of 3%, Aim_Deep chooses ele dmg nodes though. If you are starting with shadow then go around whole tree and pick life nodes on the way first, then bit of AOE and around 60-65 you start picking crit nodes.

As for 2.0 Vaal Pact is big win for this build. I've leveled with 5L Voll's protector, 100% charges up time but requires 1-2 surgeon's mana flasks. I am level 70 shadow atm and have 7k dmg, 50% crit chance I believe. I think it was 1-2k less in 1.3. Looking forward to my progress with this build.

Can you show your new gems setup etc? I guess u changed the reduced mana and artic armour with other gems, I'd like to know what gems did u pick.

Also, what single target we shall use? Glacial Cascade?

and how do u run 2 heralds and purity? I barely have mana with 2 heralds and purity.

Well you need mana on all gear now. That means jewerly, glove, helm.

My gear is same as before but im gonna get mana. This is what I'm map with. All those places it says ES i would like mana instead because I want 300 free mana. Build needs 300 free for seemless spam so warlords can catch up. Alternative is enlighten maybe. I dont have one and im playing ladder now.

and as for your LW being a bit slower than usual, thats why I gave a bit more love to cast speed than u did in the tree. Right when the witch tree starts I went for the 3x cast speed instead of 3x inc spell damage nodes, the LW feels almost same for me as it was before.

Problem with cast speed is spam Ice nova. Better to be slower and more damage means warlords leech more mana and uses it slower.

But I'm still fine tuning.

Want to stay with same tree but mana on gear instead of ES. This way if i run into curse immune guy I can still spam.

Wear good 30MS boots too for faster LW and so I dont need purity.

Get double curse from tree its so close.

Then run AA, and the two heralds for more tank.


And yeah GC for single target is best. I'm over 100K with it.

The build is overall way more powerful. 20% more DPS and more EHP. Problem is everything hits so damn hard now in 2.0 haha.

Also i forgot to answer this - we never really needed Enduring cry. It was useful in trio fight if you walked in w no charge - but we get free endurance charges with warlords, now 4, so cwdt>ic>id is all you need.

What about leap slam - FA - fortify - curse on hit in chest?
