I don't know, did you even try to consider that less races equals in less races to earn points in?
We can't all be no-lifers that GGG caters their game for, it's a a horrible idea and they should realize this by now.

And let's not forget, they'll probably fuck European players so bloody hard, ONCE AGAIN.

Seriously, stop balancing your game around Streamers/No-Lifers, that way your game will die within time because the big part of the community leaves 1 by 1, which is already the case.

I am going to reserve judgment until we know more. All I gotta say is... if they didn't increase point rewards per race, this is going to be the worst season ever.

I agree that jewelry really should never be in the 1,000 point spot, but if it's a really good one like Astra or Voll's I'll be okay with it. I am going to laugh my ass off if it is an Anvil. And the art implies that it might be.

Overall, I am a bit disappointed with the point tiers, disappointed with a two hour signature, and reeeeeeally nervous about the point rewards not being higher. If they aren't higher I'll literally stop after the 40 point ring. If they ARE higher I might push for the BOR.

Please dont scrwe up this race season. We realy need something cool here. Not these oring fix seed races as signature. Races can be so much fun but yeah ...right now not hyped...

I agree with thats being said about points and rewards for the most part. Alot of people cant compete because the race times, some people dont compete because they arent good at it, others want to compete but dont because of things like this.

I think there should be some consideration for rewards to also be given to effort and dedication, aside from being good at racing.

I think they should make the higher tier prizes (prizes that they know only good racers will reach) amazing, and the lower tier prizes a bit better.

Heres an example.

10-250 points - Alternate Art mid-lower tier uniques (Things that look cool but definitely arent the best, things that people would want for looks).
250-500 points - Mid tier uniques (Things that look great and are in reach for decent races, things that are more commonly used late game but not precisely end game viable).
500/1000 points - Alternate art end game uniques like Kaoms Heart or other good uniques (This gives a true sense of value to the higher point rewards, true sense of accomplishment at being good at racing, while looking insanely good).

Im not entirely sure on GGGs thoughts on race participation, but i think getting more people into racing just for fun wouldnt hurt.

I think the upcoming season will turn away alot of players who feel the same way. I like the Alternate Art Bringer of Rain, i would like to have it, yet it seems out of reach.

Just some basic math..

500/190 (Points required/total events) = 2.6~

Thats about 3 points per race, doing every race, just to get the 500 point reward. That just isnt realistic for anyone who has a life while only being a decent racer. Even if you partake in only 100 of the events, thats 5 points per race which means youd have to be a pretty good racer to achieve.
