Hey, im wondering why there's not even a single line about curses in the guide. I mean sure the build uses EE already and you're heavily gem slots starved (at least if going with zombies in helmet) but wouldnt something like ele weakness be very efficient damage-wise? its another -45 all res on 21/20 gem. i see the benefits of your EE setup but ele weakness looks to good to pass in my eyes..oh wait, curses on bosses are reduced in effeciviness, right? yeah 60% for map bosses according to wiki.. which would leave us with like what? -18% all res? well this answers a lot of questions already i guess..

Hello, Will try to explain my point of view to clarify things a bit.
Since totens cant curse, neither zombies you need to cast the curse
this means you are not casting srs to cast the curse...
You gain some benefit from -res ? Yes.
But I dont really thinks its that good, since you can summon
more spirits and gain more dps.

Curses are good, I do like to have someone casting Temporal Chain + Elemental Weakness
on maps, with me, it really helps.
But keep in mind that the high budget is optimized for Uber, besides the curse effectiveness
on her, she also reflects the curses...so its better to cast more spirits instead of losing
a socket and a keybind (3vaal+FlashOffering+Arc+Desencrate+SRS = no space!)

I do reccomend you to test thinks and see how they work. Personally I dont like to cast curses cuz things die so fast its not worth it and if I need more dps for bosses for example, I just use Vaal Haste and melt everything.

To answer the latest spam of curse questions not only in threads but also via private messages heres why we don't use curses with this build:

The build is optimized for Uber Atziri, you don't have to use spell totem + arc to kill highest lvl map bosses in seconds so cursing there is also a complete waste to bother.

Uber Atziri has a 60% curse reduction effect as well as curse reflect. Now, this is a glasscannon build, being forced to use a flask rolled with warding is not only annoying, it is wasted due to the main reason why we don't curse:

Main Reason:
With the curse reduction effect we are actually losing DPS despite our insane ammount of cast speed on this build we are literally losing DPS by not casting spirits during the time which we are casting a curse instead. Also, since the targets we are fighting are dying in less than 0.3seconds it would on top of it being bad for us, be hard to time to hit the curse before the target is dead!


Fun fact:
My first version of this build, many patches ago was designed to have a 6L curse on hit totem with Enhance & Empower lvl 4. Sadly, spell totem can't use the support gem: Curse on Hit!

I´m running a CI SRS right now. It was pretty cheap. Any thought on how to improve my gear?
Not linked properly right now. What should i buy next to get more dps shavronne or 6l?

Hey,

I am personally not a big fan of CI summoners due to the limitation of auras it provide, however, if you wish to upgrade your gear I would recommend going for more Intelligence on your gear and obviously higher ES. But to upgrade your DPS you'd have to go for Shavronne's or Hybrid, Shavs being the best choice for DMG upgrade, of course!

Spell DMG, Elemental DMG, Physical stats, or any other stats that affects you that isn't specifically stating "minions get this or that" will never affect the minions, no.

SRS is a fire spell, which means this in fewer words;
You are using a fire based spell to summon a minion, after the spell is casted minions emerge, these minions are seperate enteties unlike Spell Totems who are copies of your stats. The minions have their own stats and is only affected by minion related nodes/mods and of course the support gems linked to them in your gear.

I hope that clearified how minion gets their bonuses?

Ghazzy, if you use mana flask just for bleed immunity, get ample hallowed one, it use 4 charges, and with perfect +20 charges it is 10 uses of the flask without killing any monsters.

Hey,

Yes, we can schock, but it is not to worry about, even if we bring it to 20/23 we'll schock for just a super brief moment, but it will hit hard with the ammount of attacks from our spirits. However, the only time we would notice the DPS difference in this build would be vs a boss where a 0.2-3 second kill would be 0.1sec faster to kill. Now, that would be lovely, however, these bosses can not be schocked!

We use the Arc for the sake of EE and you can do this with a lvl 1/0 as well as a lvl 21/20.

Hello Ghazzy!

I managed to get a bunch of gems to Q20, I nearly have all of them at Q20 now. I just need to level them to 20. I also managed to get a 5L Pledge of Hands and 5L Shavronne's Wrappings. After getting the other pieces of gear, would you say I'd have an easy time with Uber Atziri, or is 6L on both PoH and Shavronne's mandatory?
