[1.2] BorWoe Max block + acro Supertank-build - 25k or 45k dps - Beyond (HC) - Affordable - [Ranger]

Nice.
I tried something similar with bow, but couldn't even hit 200% without sacrificing too much damage.

But I have recommendation, if you arent going to iron reflexes,
add 2 points and go to ondar's guile. (don't go directly to herbalism, go first south, then ondar then move north to acrobatics, while taking herbalism)
by lvl 92+2 you have 244% life and ondar, it's great.
this is the typical build that takes 3 hours to clear a tropical island

That's pretty ignorant, you can see for yourself at Zivkos version (duelist with IR), his dps is lower, and yet he's downed Atziri and 78 maps..

I've had a similar build in invasion, had no problems with any tier of maps..

Yes it's tank-oriented, but the dps is surprisingly good, and the melee splash alone makes clearing quite fast.

Then you were doing something wrong, honestly. Thanks for the feedback.
Giving away 10+ sets (Wings, BoR, Rainbowstrides + SoL + 1 exalted per set) at http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/997205 !
Some thoughts after looking at your build.

1. You use the purity of fire aura - yet your build is really dragging on fire resist at only 31% resistance even with purity running. Don't you think this is a significant problem that needs addressing??

2. You use the Stone of Lazhwar for 50% spell block. Wouldn't your build be tankier with a 40% fire resist amulet with some damage or LL or ML on it? Probably this reflects the problem in no. 1.

3. The Lazhwar and two rings have a total of 99 int on them. This will require a typical player to take 2 or 3 int nodes if they can not/do not get int on jewelry.

4. All your rare gear has max or near max life. Your BoR has also has max life for a non-legacy BoR. If the average player has half the amount of life on gear that you have, would that put them at less than 4000 life?

I realize this is a plan on the new tree, just thought I would point some things out.

The gear shown there is just an example. I didnt both balancing the resists in the gear, but it would've of course been done ingame. I can rebalance it just for show, but the resistances arent hard to get to 75+.

Stone of Lazhwar is one of the keyitems for this build, enabling 75% spell block resistance, which is huge.

Again just a placeholder value, only need a bit int on the ring(s) and you can pick a +30 int node worst case, but it shouldnt be needed :)

Nope! I had 5,2k hp with ONLY the uniques! (Bringer of rain, Wings of entropy, Stone of lazhwar and rainbowstrides!

6,2k hp (with the highest hp variant) with gloves, boots, rings and belts with 50 hp on each, which is very, very affordable and even craftable :)
