I'm working on some sort of guide to point people in the right direction. I probably won't add a number of skill trees but I will point out which keystones and nodes are important to get while levelling.

I've updated the first post with my progression. In short, went from 73k to 81k dps and added a Gorge run in 3:30 minutes.

i dont know if he is using it but. I often use Severeignty, with to nodes to get to it you will save 4+4+6= 14% reduced mana reserved. That way u can run two 60% aura and one 25% aura with only level 12 (not sure) reduced mana gem.

There is a reserved mana calculator on the interwebs Found here to experiment with.

At the moment I'm using a level 20 Reduced Mana with Haste and Hatred and a level 20 Reduced Mana with Herald of Ash and Elemental Proliferation. The quality doesn't affect auras, only skills, so it would be pointless to use a 20/20 Reduced Mana on any of the auras.

And yeah, I use the Sovereignty node to be able to run three auras.

how do i duel shield ? cant put 2 shields at once like you at video ?

I am doing a duelist facebreaker cyclone build that is almost specced the same way as you. However I only do 47k dps (without Atziri's promise) at the moment and I cant figure out why I am so far behind you. I'm running Grace, Hatred (lvl 20) and Herald of ash (quality 0).

What is your dps without the Carcass?

Do you not have any Life Leech/Life gain on hit on your gear/passives?

I like the look of the videos, nice clear speed.

Here is what I intend to use



Its not the best but it should do okay.., and its a tri-white so I can use whatever I want in the sockets. Didnt cost me anything, it was a straight swap (Unique / Unique) for something I wasnt using so that should drop the cost a little bit. The only downside I see is I cannot Quality it (Corrupted).

Now, is it true, Facebreakers dont crit because its an Unarmed charatcer ?

I have only just started the Scion now, Level 9 (I only play a few hours a day). Cant wait to start the mince machine.

It's been a while since I've updated this thread but I have been experimenting a lot with the build the past two weeks. I've been trying to push the limits of my survivability by respeccing life nodes to increase the damage again. Right now I'm at 4340 life and my dps went up to 90,567.2. My survivablility hardly decreased so for now I'm really happy with the results. I will not be updating the first post though because one could argue the whole "High Survivability" part with only 4340 life.

I've been experimenting with different gems as well and now I'm using Herald of Ash with Elemental Proliferation and Increased Burning Damage. In 77 maps I can kill white mobs just by the prolifed burn damage which adds loads more AoE to the build.

To answer some questions:

Nope, Facebreakers do not crit. And yeah, the Carcass is pretty expensive but you can start with any 5 linked chest and save up for a Carcass along the way.

I don't know what my DPS is without a Carcass as I don't have another 6L chest available at the moment but I don't think it adds a lot. Most important stat is the extended AoE range.
I don't have any life leech in the tree or on my gear, instead I run a 15/20 Blood Rage for 9% leech and a little added dps. In double reflect maps I exchange Melee Physical for a 20/20 Life Leech gem.

Did a quick Gorge run with my new build, last one finished in 3:30, this run I finished in 3:04 so that's a very decent improvement.
