depends on the new properties that can roll on items. if they become mandatory it will devalue a certain range of items.

Funny. Coulda sworn he said that they won't have to wait for the new expansion back in March. Guess it's going to be an epic, full blown, highly secure auction house, if it's taking this long.

OMG! So stoked for the new expansion!

The new crafting system is exactly what PoE needed. From the pictures it appears like you can add specific mods to items. It adds a deterministic element to crafting. I feel there's is too much RNG in the current version. This will really help those who like to play self-found! Will also be very useful in new leagues and may be an interesting factor in long duration races.

Hideouts are cool. I'm sure it will also provide a bountiful new space for microtransactions from the cash shop: win/win.

sorry, i haven't scoured all 92 pages, so am def missing some info,
but if we share our master progress among toons, is there a limit to master progress like there are skill points?

otherwise, why dont i just level them all to level 8 and by the time we get to standard this seems like it would make crazy op.

i'd hoped they give more then just fancy tools on the crafting bench, but maybe not.

are they only crafting empowering or do they teach us some special skills like extra tree nodes?

rereading the original post, it sounds like they are only crafting specific? i find that kinda disapointing :(

this was already possible at the old traders with some recipes. ggg just moved it to a more accessible place and you don't have to collect special flasks for it (hopefully).

yeah, in all likelyhood if your gear is worth anything substantial right now then these changes wont effect it. We dont know for sure we are just shooting shit atm, but I would be seriously surprised if you can create anywhere near the higher tiers of gear with this crafting. I just dont see it happening, theyve designed a game where its absurdly hard to get high tier gear atm, it would just seem so far from their previous design.
