[1.3 VIDEO GUIDE] PoE Beginners Build The Carpet Bomber, Fireball Witch EB, AA [HC/SC viable]
" If you're just looking at the tooltip, it won't. The tooltip doesn't factor in the secondary explosion damage which is what concentrated effect improves. |

I am lvl 67 so far. But now I run into some mana problems.
My Gear (I know it's bad, but this my first (real) char): Passive skill tree build AR: 16 Discipline: 17 PoF: 16 Clarity: 16 Reduced Mana: 16 Mana: 2835 Reserved: 2117 Left: 718 Manareg:166,39 I could level clarity up to 17 but I am a little scared that I will run just into more mana problems. What should I do? Map: "Area is inhabited by Goatmen" Templar: "Heavy breathing" Last edited by Noodlez#6164 on Feb 12, 2015, 10:11:23 AM

" Thanks for the answer! :) |

" I really can't say much but I can let you see my current gear that I am using as a level 78 doing maps. This might give you some idea as to what changes you need to make in your gear. With this gear my mana regen is 284. According to the OP that means that I would be able to handle a level 22 Arctic Armor IIRC. Sorry I couldn't give you more assistance than that. The one thing that I am bad at in this game is seeing the weakest link in a person's gear and telling them which piece to upgrade first. I hope this helps you out even if it is just a little bit of help. |

" +% bonus on gear to mana regen is the best way to boost it (and 'not enough mana and mana regen' is the essential problem if you can't run Arctic Armor). It comes on jewelry, wands, scepters, staves and spirit shields. The unique Atziri's Foible, if you can handle it's lack of resists (fr having on other gear), adds an ton. Other than that, more +mana or energy shield and definitely you could use Armor Scraps on your armor if you plan on keeping it, and Quality would add Energy Shield and thus mana. Maybe even craft a +energy shield or +%energy shield mod on it from Haku. Personally, am on Standard and found plenty of Bro Deals on gear. Granted, in many cases I spent a lot of time hunting down the right items... Last edited by mythicalweaver#6538 on Feb 15, 2015, 5:18:47 AM

How do you generate Power charges with the crit version of this build?
|
|
So I'm just wondering where exactly you're getting all your dex?
|
|
I was thinking about changing out the skelly totem and run righteous fire instead with rise of the phoenix and ofc change around some auras. Do you guys think this would work?

Not the OP, but...
" Quite a few options. Power Charge on Crit support gem linked to main skill, though this is difficult to fit without a 6-link. Power Charge on Crit linked to another skill that's used to keep charges up. Most popular being, perhaps, Ice Spear due to it's super high crit chance. Assassin's Mark curse, which (sometimes) provides a power charge when you kill the cursed enemy. Not perfect in all situations. Some like using Herald of Thunder+Curse on Hit+Assassin's Mark. When critting with fireball, it applies shocked, which can then trigger HoT which lightning blasts enemies automatically, which then applies the curse. I use it, and definitely while still leveling through the crit nodes (lvl 86) thus not terribly optimized. I use this herald and the ice version, in lieu of OP's auras, in combo with a 5-link Infernal Mantle. I guess there's also the Voll's Protector chest...but 50% reduced maximum mana sucks it royal. Doedre's Elixir, obtainable for cheap, can be used to maintain charges between monster packs. " What isn't obtained in the tree is on gear. Attributes can appear on nigh anything (and be added via master crafting if there is a free suffix). Personally I've still got 1 node hanging on. Best thing for leveling is an Atziri's Foible which reduces all requirements. Not terrible for higher levels...still using one myself albeit with a 1% fire leeched as life corruption on it. :P " No expert, but I think you need super high life regen to not actually be losing life with it, even with Rise. Judging from what I've read in the Marauder RF build posts. |

" Fixing minor bits of the crit variant here, save a passive point, get +18% power charge duration instead of +10 Int (in pursuing Overcharge node), and eliminate one extra Int node not doing anything (a remnant of the other build's path perhaps under and to the left of Cruel Prep): http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgMA37DfioIQB6UC40myLJwFQhBYQZaHZa6z0PVMs5eVLR9QMAQHUlOVINteg9s9X5f0wfNVxm0ZoqOCHjpYCPR_xtsLrJjAVBGW99fxbGpDvOoHHg5Im6E22JUu44RjQ13yj0ZJG_DVNj1w1Z1jHRQqjUlRj_qdqonT5Y6OZPrS7FXr9WKsbIxwUqSx96YXLxZvZJ2MNrb6ZOckquNq8h1VS1XWNulh4oCkJpUWv9WmhX3sOO08gpsnL5o7kFU8BRo4n9_vfMAawGZxhQSzeuaiAGP98B9G12jy2rmxQnwOp1VboEPIZp4WQA== I think every crit build will look slightly different though, as you want to squeeze as much as possible as your level allows 'along the way', of crit nodes, and not have much excess mana regen...just depends a lot on gear. |
