GhazzyTV claims 15 million DPS with raging spirits, but takes longer to kill Atziri.

Since when was 3 million greater than 15 million?

Can you show us your calculations? Cause I'm calling bullshit.

In spite I have a level 82 summoner witch, I consider me a complety noob after reading your posts... (in fact, even before read them)

I have changed totally my skill tree to copy yours as much as possible, and I have start to use SRS with good success atm.

Anyway, I have still some noob questions...

You use as support for your SRS "Melee Physical DMG". Why not "Minion Increase damage"?? This last one can reach a highr % that the MPD.....

In reference to use Desecrate for getting spectres, the level of the spectre depends of area where you cast it? I mean, If I use lvl 15 Desecrate in a lvl 1 area, I get a spectre level 1 or the max the skill permits?

And finally, which tool do you use to calculate the damage deals for SRS?

Hello Ghazzy, recently I got a Shav's drop (yeah, I'm TOO MUCH lucky) and didn't know very well what to do. I decided to save it and make some builds out of it. Most builds I've seen required also Acuitys, void batteries, CoE and more expensive stuff I couldn't afford. So I gonna try out this build when I have my Shav's and the gems ready to go.

My question is: I got a witch at level 84. Can I respec to this build (HB one) at this level or should I level it up a bit?

What is the meaning of getting "Potency of will" and "excepctional Perfomance", both grants +90% increased skill effect duration? Only for flasks or for any other main buff which could be improved with those nodes?

These DPS numbers are against 0 resist. Also SRS has a ramp up time, so we are never actually doing peak DPS. That said, with GG gear, two +18% min dmg corrupts, anger-hatred-generosity, vaal haste, haste, quad curse, and EE against monsters with no resists this build should be able to hit 6.5M single target DPS. With shock that's 6.5*1.5=9.75M. 2M DPS with splash (1 curse, no shock) is more realistic, which means that for 1sec fights we have the equivalent of 60k DPS, and for 2sec fights about 230k DPS.

As i've mentioned several times on my livestream, the DPS is a peak DPS calculated vs 0 armour, 0 resist just like 95% of all other build threads on the forums. Also, it is during our peak DPS with Vaal Haste and peaked SRS ammount.
However, the DPS was calculated by a viewer of mine who sent me spreadsheets that i had posted on the forum. It's been brought to my attention that there has been some calculation misstakes and that with GG gear the peak DPS should realistically be around 9 Mil DPS, this is without the risk of getting Vaaled min dmg that matrixfactor is refering to in his latest response shown above.

The thread is updated and yes, it is still doing more DPS than any other build in the game, but just like matrix also wrote, it is all about the ramp-time, only times we are doing peaked DPS is when we've pre-casted our spirits just like we do on the actual boss fights. However, bosses have resistances like any other enemies in the game.

Reason why the DPS is calculated vs 0 armour & 0 resist, is because of the fact that we can not show you a cool tooltip DPS as a summoner.


Against the 1st boss in Atziri map we have 98-100% DPS (2% is the slim risk of having a spirit worst case scenario 2 run away to another spawn, this is extremely rare. But also the super thin travel time).
Second boss at atziri we don't have spawn issues unless we are positioned poorly and have the last boss hiding behind a pillar. However travel time after the ranged boss is dead is slightly higher, so again i would estimate 98-100% DPS.
Atziri herself is very different due to RNG, but "most" of the time we get to pre-cast everything we need for the DPS to reach peaked numbers.


Sadly I have not had the time to sort the calculation, i was merely presented it and after a quick glance it looked fine. I've gone ahead and updated the thread to more realistic numbers, that are still, the highest in the game.

Regarding DPS calculation, read above msg :)

Melee Physical DMG has a "more" multiplier rather than "increased" which provides you with a ton more DPS. The DMG conversion the spirits has (50% physical / 50% Fire) is converted AFTER all dmg multipliers have been added to their DPS.
The Desecrate lvl will have a max cap of what lvl of the corpses it can summon, however it can never summon corpses with lvl higher than that of the map.

If you have a +3 staff then go for HB-SRS if you feel comfortable with it! :)

They both increase the duration of our SRS as well as the duration of Flesh Offering, Vaal Haste, Vaal Discipline.
The duration increase on SRS is one of the most crucial DPS increasing details of this build. We do not benefit more dps from using inc duration gem (or faster casting since we use echo already). But getting that duration from the tree for "free" it does a lot for us.
