[1.1.5.] Nito's Ball Lightning EB MoM AA Build Now with Videos!

I would sugest this for final build, you get more area, more damage, a little less life, and more mana unreserved from auras(so MOM is more effective against bigger hits).


As far as your gear goes, you just need more life and some regen to run max level AA(with staff + cloak of defiance should it be very easy to achieve) and spam ball lightning

Feel a coil is much better than a cloak for BL.. Also, life leech? Grab a doryani's belt and lose the gem.. Also think I would use faster casting over lightning dmg, but thats me.

Coil and MoM would accomplish the same % of physical reduction, while Cloak gives more synergy because of EB and AA being used anyways. and i was actually about to grab a Doryani's belt as i saw this. lol probably gonna drop the LL and swap it for Empower for those gem levels.

It would give more dps than lightning penetration even with all your increased lightning damage

I think it's time some people stop watching tooltips ... Not even having lightning build yet I can tell you with certainty lightning penetration is superior by far.

Then you will have to use a staff for the 5-6L though...

Uploading a proof of concept video right now, clear speed is rather good, though you may get hung up on bosses a bit, simply because of how their resists interact with curses.

i have to say that you with your 7link have slower clear speeds than i do with my 5link - i have faster clear speeds doing 70+ maps with ele equilibrium mod or enfeeble

it is all about you not focusing on AOE. paper dps for this skill means VERY little as the synergies not factored in tooltip (knockback*aoe*shocks)

I can't help but be puzzled by this. If you read the guide, you would have, of course realized i am focusing on aoe, but not in such a way that would destroy our dps, i.e. the witch aoe nodes, and a good old fashioned aoe gem, which I've found to be more than enough, however. lmp/gmp is not the way to go. Regardless of weather the tooltip is accurate or not, it's still an indicator of the ball park your damage will be dealing. Adding lmp/gmp, and adding that insane damage penalty is not going to help clear speed, of that i'm fairly certain.

Knockback is simply a defensive measure, and is by no means required, again, a point that i mentioned, earlier in the guide, as far as shocks are concerned, for the past 5 or so levels, i took off static blows, because i misunderstood the mechanics of it, and upon retrying it, i felt my clear speed skyrocket.

tl;dr i do focus on aoe, but without ruining clear speed. lmp/gmp don't raise clear speed at all, i feel.

your clear speed is already ruined. seriously. your staff is worth more than my entire standard stash and you clear 68 maps like i did when i was lvl 68.. with crap gear etc

paper dps describes only strength of one pulse. says NOTHING about number of hits these pulses land. and without AOE (in my case 90% increase) that count is low. if your ball hits 4 times and my hits 7-8 times due to how knockback*aoe synergy works i do twice the damage. also - more hits == more shock chances. i cannot afford ele prolif linked (so i have to use arc totem+ele prolif) but your setup seems to not shock that efficiently as it should

i do not know how to record videos (hints appreciated) but i tell you - this is bad clear speed with BL. and it is amazingly bad considering your SICK staff..
