HC 2 week race...HC race seasons....and now once again pandering to the HC element of the playerbase.

In my view this once again just stamps the softcore v hardcore element into the game.

Now we get more of it with those that consider HC to be the 'elite' playerbase etc.


Pandering to the HC playerbase every time they start raging with their entitlement issues, has ruined a lot of games, please don't take POE down that slippery slope also.

Please be careful about lumping everyone who enjoys Hardcore into the same category as 'elite' and it's elitists not to be rude. As there are genuinely elite players who are better than others at Hardcore, as there will be in any aspect of life. While elitists tend to feel that they are superior because of their circumstances, or the desire to hold leverage over others due to personal opinion.

I only enjoy playing Hardcore, because for me personally it adds a greater sense of achievement and thrill for the time I spend on Path of Exile. I don't believe there is a distinction between the leagues, I do think there is a difference in play style and the intentions behind those play styles. To state the obvious, Path of Exile is a game and games are designed to be fun, so choosing the league which you feel you will benefit from the most is how I look at it.

It's usually as always only a vocal minority that ruin it for the rest. Bad news always travels faster than good news, I say play what feels right for you. Softcore/Hardcore.. neither is more entitled, they are merely leagues for people with different choices and play styles.

Standard Hardcore, is rather plain and filled with legacy items. I would have just waited out for the four month league if GGG had not provided this option, so I don't necessarily feel that most Hardcore players would have joined the Softcore league. As I said before there are different play styles and intentions for the leagues people pick not merely to lord it over another for the few that do.

PS.Hopefully some softcore.. players wont emo now, because HC players wont play with them, to the rest normal softcore players goodluck and have fun!
