Dominion's Hardcore Dual-Spark CI Witch - UPDATED for 1.0.1
how much armor do you have? is this stat important?

Dom, are you going to post a game play video? It would be cool to see your play style. Are you summoning zombies all the time, or only during tough fights?

I made a few changes to make the build slightly more offensive in the early game and optimized some health node usage to counterbalance it.
Level 20
Link
Trades the three 8% life nodes (one in starting area, two near fitness) and an 8% max mana node for 9% cast speed and early doom cast.
Level 40*
Link
More or less similar to your build to this point, I skip the 8% node near divine toughness and spend 1 more point than your build to get the fitness node near the path to double totems.
Level 60*
Link
I arrive at this point two levels earlier than your build, the total net trade being -14% HP for Doom Cast and 20 strength. Most likely, I will be spending these spare points on agility nodes to equip and level bear traps so it's a bit of a wash. Rather than go for the witch lightning nodes, my first offensive nodes towards end game would be to go through the lightning nodes to celestial walker and prestidigitation. Both options are 9 points, +54% lightning +2% cast +15% lightning resist +10 int vs +8% lightning +10% elemental +6% cast +10% resist all +16% mana. | |
Dom, you mention that you don't like ice spear because of the range restriction there is on the phase two of the shot, but when you place them point blank on a target, you can hit with all the spray shots, thus doing more up close, and the show still travels afterwards because of the 100% pierce at the start. Did you take this into consideration when going spark? also how reliable are your shock stacking on targets? i'd like to find out just how powerful shock is compared to ice.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but some of the passive decisions you made make little sense to me.

It just feels like you gave up a whole lot of ES to have 1 additional and longer curses, and that some of the ES you did go for could have been acquired more efficiently elsewhere. Last edited by Zaffax on Feb 18, 2013, 3:19:28 PM

" Elemental adaptation increases your maximum resists, not giving you a bonus +% resists, that's why it's so very good. Dual curses is really useful for a dual totem build, not like you can run around casting freezing pulse, you need something to do to increase your damage/survivability as needed Last edited by fallum_emp on Feb 18, 2013, 5:05:25 PM
