this post is cancer, what is so hard with uber for you? Pretty much ALL dmg can be countered/avoidid.

What you guys don't understand is that probably 95%+ of PoE players do NOT have Shav + CoE + mirrored dagger. That's why they are asking for a regular melee build where the max number of auras you can run is ~3.

I believe Havoc has come the closest to doing full Uber Atziri run with his Marauder cycloner, however he typically switches to his low-life Ranger spec throw for Uber Atziri herself. I have not seen him actually do Uber Atziri with his Marauder.

How exactly is double Vaal on level 80 map with 100% extra damage and 100% extra life - "impossible to fail". I agree on the last 2, but what you just typed for #1 is BS.

damn, if i were one of those few multi-thousand exalt guys out there on standard i would donate this 35-40ex for him to make a video of this "not so hard" uber kill with a life-bases melee char.

well, after a quick consideration, if i were as rich i would probably design a build that would accomplish this feat and make my own video.

the problem with melee life-based is that it probably needs to be a crit build so you have enough dps for ads phase as well as too kill atziri quickly enough to avoid as much damage as possible, also to have good life leech efficiency.

for example, i don't know why, but at the left side of the tree there are more 1-h melee weapon crit clusters than 2-h ones which does not help making a 2-h crit life-based build. even then u need to go to the right side to take some crit nodes if you ever want this build to work. while theorycrafting such a build i came to the conclusion that the below item, which i made for fun and for the purpose of this thread view-thread/871608, would greatly help 2-h crit builds with uber-atziri and all.

To be honest the guy you mean is talking a lot trash
also in case he really made it with a crappy 2hand lifebuild the gearcost would allow him to build 2 low life spectral throw which are atleast 4 times as efficient and effective.

so all in all its selfgimping to try uber atziri with lifebuild especially with 2hand crap life build.

of course, it is self-gimping.
atm i have two chars i play, one is 2-h life-based with legacy kaoms and mirror 2-h mace and the other is low-life crit ST with all required items except for auxium and atizri's gloves.

I enjoy playing both, but since i remember i always prefered melee chars and personally defeating uber-atziri with melee life-based one would be a real accomplishment for me, so that's why i would self-gimp myself.

Leg kaoms + mirrored axe is what I got, and it works. Also I'm done with this thread, gives me cancer.

IMO Jake's kill is legit melee uber Atziri kill. Although, it's just prove that uber Atziri is broken part of game. Jake's gear is something that most of players (more than 99%) can see only on forum and rarely on trade chat. I mean, uber Atziri should be hard but this is not hard, this is stupid. I tough before that Tommie's build might have a chance to kill uber (guild friend have similar build/gear) but after watching Jake's video I'm a bit skeptical. (:

How am I supposed to prove something that would cost me 40ex?
