ReverendBizzarre: ele cleave templar [6k life, 45k+ dps]

Thanks for the guide :) very helpful in making my own ele cleave duelist. I am curious though because the duelist tree does not include the passive skill amplify. Does it not affect cleave or is this just because there was no spare nodes for it? thanks

Also I'm going to borrow my marauder's 6 link RRRRRG for a little while until I get my own. It's mirrored so I can't change colors. Was thinking cleave-WED-leech-faster attacks-blood magic-reduced mana. Thoughts?

Anyone tried Vaal Pact with this build?

jeez its kind of hard to exchange ur currency into exalteds:D anyone else got the problem?farmed quite some currencys and want to exchange them for exalteds to buy a 6L soon:) hope i can manage it soon.

I have. You need at least 5k life to use Vaal pact. Something fun you can do with vaal pact is devouring totem. It heals 150 life instantly per devour, furthermore, if you have a 20% qual faster casting linked to it and haste, it heals almost 300 life/second. You can do it without vaal pact but the heal from the totem is limited by your life leech cap.

yes they stack if you use an item like windscream or deodres ring unqiue, any of them would do.

2k Life
1k armor (25%)
60-65% all resists in merciless
2k1 dps tooltip on my cleave

Yesterday i died about 5 time in the fetid pool (f***in skeleton rhoas), and lost nearly a level, and died a lot in rocky climb too...

What should i do now? farm currency/level in ledge and buy me some better gear?
Or is there something wrong in my build/gear/gems?
Or i'm i just bad? (this is probably the case^^).

you have very low life on your gear and your weapons need to change you ahve low damage on them.

Amplify affects cleave, no enough passives to get it.

You most likely wont need reduced mana, since the item is mirrored there isnt much you can add in the red mana cost slot except for fire penetration, added fire isnt as good because the build isnt physical based.

Well its random , what can i do? quit after 100-200 fusings? i had in plan to buy a ilvl 79 chest , roll top life , high resist and some defense , i got this cause its not huge dex requiremnt , and cause i use iron reflex so evasion goes into armor .

I had 45-50 exalted budget to:


1. buy a mirror - i could buy one at 41 exalteds and i didnt want to do that , cause we all know its not worth it .

2. buy/bid on a good chest - i did ,the owner did not answer and the chest i bidded on 26 exalted was abit weaker than this one - lower life.

3. craft myself a chest and by this method : buy ilvl 78 + - 2 gcp / buy between 100-300 jewels- 0.5 -1 exalted / buy 400 fusings - apro 12 exalteds , and the alteration/regal/exalteds doing it godly.


After 2 days of search i choose the nr 3 , cause i knew there is a chance i can hit 6 link by 10 fusings for example ,but no i ended up using 1100 fusings -250 jewels - 2 exalted to exalt the chest and few alterations (100 maybe) . So yes the chest might not worth 30-35-40 exalteds but hey i got a 6link ilvl 79 godly chest and when im not sure im pleased with the defence roll i can just scour it , get 120 % evasion and by spending another 5-10 exalteds im sure i can get a even better roll with 2.5 -3k total ar/evasion life and dual res. But for now im pleased with it , and everything is Rng/RANDOM . so in total 15 exalted u could get a godly chest .


FOR THE RECORD : in 1100 fusings i got 8 times 5 link and 1 time 6 link.


Now i need a new ring/amulet with 70 life / ele dmg/ armor %/ im capped on resist need dps and life.


Running at 205 life/second w/o totem and at 320 + with totem.


My c stats are : 16k dps / 4.5k hp/ 80 to all resist/ 200 hp second/ 7.2k armor


Using - wrath /anger/grace - total life reserved - 358. I skip only elemental reflect maps and i play solo.
