Victor, what is your Defense level with two different setups? I am debating if I need Enduring Cry and the Oak reward, but I feel like maybe it is stupid to not use it. It just sucks because my skillbar/gem slots are loaded.

You do need it, enduring cry is a must for any melee build.

Defensiveness is at 6k armor on both, max resistances on both 80 all, only the life is different, 3.6k with the pure dps gear and 4.3k with the more tanky gear.

The 3.6k life setup is very useful for speeding through low level maps, whereas the higher 4.3k life setup is more useful in high level maps where monsters hit harder and you have to be more careful.

hah, i tried to buy that sword a few days ago. The guy was kinda crazy tho and wanted 6 GCP's. I see your post on his thread, if you got it for 2 GCP's, that's less than i offered him.

I'm trying something similar than your build - any tips on how to support auras on lower level? I'm currently lvl 36 and I can only run two, which is already close as the mana pool that left gets me going oom very often.

I got this a while back, damage wise its worse than my old weapon but the dex allow me to level up haste and grace and use rapier in the second slot.

I apologize up front for the newb question. I really like the look and feel of this build and even decided to give it a shot myself. What I'm wondering is, besides the elemental damage on a weapon, where does the elemental damage come from? Unless I missed something, which is entirely possible, i don't see any added elemental support gems.

I am still quite new to the game.

Weapon Elemental damage support gem and auras (wrath and anger) I believe. Also elemental damage on equipment. Auras do crazy things for your cleave DPS.

Just as an FYI, not sure if it's been mentioned:

You can't use a 2H sword with sweep, so this only works from 1-30ish with a club/mace or Axe

This build got a HUGE problem now,i think it's unplayable after patch cause they will move all the mana flows talents ( 32% increased mana, 3 talents) near duelists

not even close to a huge problem, chill out.

we already go past some 8% mana nodes, take 3-4 of those and youre set.

the only thing that can nerf this build is if they actually nerf elemental cleave,which is unlikely since they didn't nerf it when i showed everyone how overpowered it can be a few months ago.
