I'm just worryed about the tree, but i dont think its going to change a lot.
The tree might actually change. Due to the cyclone nerf, it is far far better to get insane amounts of attack speed, even more so than before.

i dont see how you get 4.6 % life regen from that tree you posted.. all i get is 3.8% or am i missing something ?

also what do you think about the following setup for reave ? (i played cyclone scion for a looooong time and now with the changes in 1.3 i want to try something new)

- reave - melee physical damage - multistrike - weapon elemental damage - physical to lightning-conc effect ? / increased aoe ? / added fire

Hi guys,

The tree is exactly the same as the one on my other build "Vulcan's Exemplar".

When I assembled the tree I had both builds in mind. In fact, my goal was to create a robust tree with flexibility in the choice of weapons, attack gems and playstyles. The result is a tree with no specific weapon nodes, no specific playstyle nodes (like Addler's Touch), a balance between attack speed, physical and critical damage, life and most importantly to me, defensive qualities (good amount of armour/evasion, IR, life regen, some resistance).

This tree can be used for a variety of different duel wield crit builds, cyclone, double catalyst MS, twin dagger reave, etc. It's allowed me to create new builds on the fly (like "Raiden") without much effort refocusing the tree.

I have pretty much optimised the tree as best as I can following those guidelines.

Personally, I think Cyclonus in 1.3 has come out quite well considering the heavy nerfs to cyclone damage, crit damage gem and crit multi from the tree.

I'll begin the huge task of rewriting the guide and creating some videos immediately.

I have always envisioned Cyclonus as a Blender variant and grace has always been a staple. With the Daresso/IC combo, and the near constant immunity to physical damage makes grace less useful and indeed, a tri-herald setup would work as a replacement. Haste is also good to replace the lost attack speed from the cyclone nerf.

2 free slots. I would use them for CwDT (2) - IC (4) for a secondary IC. Daresso keeps up with the endurance charges easily.

At the release of 1.3, the Warrior's Blood notable in the marauder sector was changed from 1% life regen to 1.8%.

I tested reave in 1.2 but strangely, since it is a dagger only skill, the soul taker didn't work with it, causing me to run out of mana. Things may have changed since. But if it did work, I'd use both P2L and Conc effect for max CQC damage, swapping out conc eff for AoE for fast paced mapping.
So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death.
