With the patch notes that Chris had been typing up it seems that there is a big change to Mortal Conviction:
"Mortal Conviction has been changed to 60% less mana reservation (from 40% less). That's a lot of extra life no longer needing to be reserved, which means that a Blood Magic variation of this build may be even more likely to crop up. I'm going to be working on one, even though I know it's sorta already been posted, but with this new information and new calculations, it might be even better. Will have to do some maths, but the build might be able to support 'The Vertex' helm with just 2 red sockets for both a Level 2 Empower/Level 21 PoF, or a Level 2 Empower/Level 20 PoF, which means a little less strict gearing options or needing to have a level 21 PoF or the Level 3 Empower (if I did that right). Probably gonna get the math wrong here, but let's see if I can do a rough estimate here: Mortal Conviction = 60% Less, which means that 60% auras without anything else will now be down to...24% a pop. Popular choices might include: Grace Determination Haste Discipline For the 40% auras, that would bring them down to...16% a pop. Popular choices would include: Purity of Fire Purity of Ice Purity of Lightning Vitality Now, let's see...a build I've been tinkering around with lately has been this one, and please pardon the roughness of the build, it's not complete yet, but should still give the general idea: So from all of that I would get 60% less from MC and then another 43% reduced mana from there (14% from the tree and 29% from the RM gem if I did that right). If that's correct then the new values should be something like this: 24% x 0.57 = 13.68 16% x 0.57 = 9.12 If they round up then that would mean the values are 14% and 10%. However, in my case let's say that I want to use the three purity auras with an Empower gem...now...this is where I am not sure where the multiplier is added. Is it added at the end of the aura reserve calculations, or before? If it's added at the end, then the numbers should be something like: 10% x 1.25 = 12.5 then rounded up to 13%? ...Gah...now I'm starting to ramble too much and I need to get ready for going out to lunch with a friend. If anyone who is more knowledgeable with this stuff could perhaps pick up/correct where I have off and what I have done, please feel free to do so. I know I could simply wait until tomorrow but figure since I've gotten this far, might as well try and finish it. :) Of course, this is all assuming that MC stays at 60% Less Mana Reserved and is final. You are correct, Blood Magic is definitely the future of this build, combined with Life Gain on Hit for mana management. I will update the tree and guide accordingly after testing around with goat4dinner. :)
Already removed the Cyclone part since multistrike doesn't work with it anymore, making it completely inferior to Molten Strike. IGN: Pirteloli

Currently right now people are wondering whether or not the quality% bonuses on armor that you get from the scraps has been intentionally changed or if it is a bug. If it is indeed a change that is intended, ES got hit very hard thanks to it.

Everyone else is busy playing so here's a quick update:
Official tree that goat myself and hisbaz are playing is http://goo.gl/khPWkF as of now, It DOES run BR + RF. Dream fragments has been dropped and replaced by a shavronne's revelation (4% legacy one) and also run with a life flask (instant recovery is the best option here). Build minimum requirment is lvl92 if you have good es regen, If you still degen then you need to lvl to 93 and pick up another 0.6% regen node and you should be good. The new gem setup is: Empower lvl3 + PoF + PoL + reduced mana PoI + Leap slam + Blood rage + RF Vitality + Discipline + reduced mana + Haste If you wish you may also drop elemental weakness in your shavs and switch it to a warlords mask since it now gives spell leech, This will increase survivability and make Ele ref a lot easier to handle. Here's what I've come up with after playing around for a bit. I'm sure it can be improved upon, but this is a working 1.2 version of the build. It definitely got hit with the nerf stick. Still seems viable, but noticeably weaker.
I could not figure out how to get enough life regen to sustain both Blood Rage AND Righteous Fire; it looks like you have to pick between the two. I picked Blood Rage because it freed up a ton of passive points to get more ES. Also went with dual curses. Currently toying with Warlord's Mark vs Conductivity to see which is more useful. I plan to swap out RotP for a high ES/Spell Damage shield as soon as I get the chance. Tree

" Can you run RF + Blood Rage with that setup? Sounds like an interesting trade-off... have to rely on heat flasks (or switch to Auxium?) but get more DPS. The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard

" It runs BR+RF without degen! It will change for everyone and it depends on how much es you have, But it will work from lvl 92-94 for anyone by just taking the regen nodes you need until you can sustain it.
