Garena is adding skill tree resets as a micro transaction in 1.1.3. Thoughts?

Fucking sad seeing in that thread how many of the Asian GGG fans warned about Garena. I didn't want to believe them, I was wrong :(.

This should already be in the game and not a microtransaction but a vendor recipe or a rare orb.

That's not how it works. The 'weekend circus' is meant to be an incentive for players to come and play. Have you never played a F2P game before? Even D3 does this (EXP weekends).

That's not how it works. The 'weekend circus' is meant to be an incentive for players to come and play. Have you never played a F2P game before? Even D3 does this (EXP weekends).

League of Legends too. It is quite a good technique.

Doesn't affect us at all. They could sell items for cash and it wouldn't affect us at all. You could buy levels for your characters and it wouldn't affect us at all.

If people support GGG based on how "good of a company" they believe it to be, then how they handle Gerena and their Asian fans does matter.

yup

ggg is now far less likely to get money from me than they were before.

no matter what anybody says, ggg is implicitly responsible for this as they are the ones who allowed garena to do it.

ggg's original stance was that PoE would not be a p2w game. i hold them responsible for maintaining that image.

the fact that they licensed the game to somebody else who is making a p2w version does not in any way absolve GGG of this or clear them of responsibility.
