One shot by atziri with almost 10k hp, nothing on the ground anywhere near me.

man I'd volunteer to work for GGG and write this kind of combat log output :)

Just remembering fondly the combat log from fallout, it's pure gold :)

- You cannot use weapons with both arms crippled.
- Thor's prized cow was hit in the udder for 1 hit point. The Brahmin is most upset with this udderly devastating attack
- Frag grenade explodes. You were peppered with fragments.
- Highwayman was critically hit in the head for 1 hit point. The attack crushes the temple. Good night, Gracie.
- Slaver was hit in the right arm for 1 hit point, causing severe tennis elbow.
- Deathclaw was hit in the left leg knocking it to the ground like a bowling pin in a league game
- Vault guard was critically hit in the eyes for 1 hit point, sadly, he is too busy feeling the rush of air on the brain to notice death approaching.
- Bandit was hit for 1 hit point. He mumbles "Mother", as his eyes roll into the back of his head
- Bouncer was critically hit in the groin for 1 hit point and he's not wearing a cup, either.
- Caravan merchant was critically hit in the torso for 1 hit point. Unfortunately, his spine is now clearly visible from the front.
- Urchin was critically hit in the head for 1 hit point, smashing the small child around like a limp rag.
- Waif was hit in the arm for 1 hit point, breaking that arm with a loud snap. Some serious tears start to flow.
- The super-duper mutant was critically hit in the groin for 1 hit point, causing the giant to spend a moment cursing the universe.
- Radscorpion was hit in the eyes for 1 hit points. The attack is fiendish, and far too sophisticated for this simple creature. If it was human, you would swear it's pretty pissed off
- Mutated molerat is critically hit for 1 hit point, summoning this creature to the great ratcatcher in the sky
- You were critically hit for 1 hit point. Surprisingly, the damage feels no worse than normal.
- You were hit in the head for 1 hit point, the shock makes your vision go dark. After a moment, you notice that your vision has not returned
- You were critically hit in the leg for 1 hit point. The bruise will look nice, and maybe the scars will make good party talk.
- You were critically hit in the eyes for 1 hit point. You feel a strange sensation in your head. You realize it's imminent brain-death
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Did you forget the hits in the groin?
-You were critically hit in the groin for 10 damage you feel the pain and fade out(Game Over)

I am also pretty sure that the bowling pin quote was used when you hit the Torso several times without damage.

Also the rants if you crippled parts of the body were hillarious like:
"Who needs eyes I gonna punch you to death"
"I don't need my arms I will bite you to death"

If you crippled both legs bosses sadly respawned, so I don't know what they would say.

I wonder why Fallout 3 removed aiming for the eyes but added "Crippled head/Torso"
I think you still could aim at the eyes of deathclaws and some special parts on other enemies. But knocking enemies down and aim for the eyes was a pretty basic Fallout strategy because Fallout was a harder strategic game and enemies had more turns than you.

But Fallout 3/NV had difficulty tied too much on character level with some exceptions and after you passed certain point the game became too easy.
I see no reason to play hardcore - this game is glitched beyond imagination to risk your time to bugs that swarm around every corner. Just don't play hardcore :P

plain bugs? not so much

if you know how to detect bugs on users' computers, contact major software vendors, you'll become billionaire in a month

Do you even know what a bug is?

A bug is inside the game, thus inside their own code which can be reviewed by their team.

There is no way a bug within the game code can affect only certain clients, unless you think desync, lag issues, client hardware issues and client crashes are bugs. I think there can be some rare exceptions tho.

If there were really a bug in Atziri's damage, there is absolutely no way it could have been on OP's client side only and other players would experience this too.

Read about the carrion queen bug for example; THAT was really a bug in their code similar on what OP is claiming (specifically CQ fireball damage on LMP affix); they admitted it and fixed it.

Wrong there is something called undefined behavior. This means it might work on certain clients, it might not work, it sometimes works and sometimes crashes.

Especially in C++ this can be quiet annoying because you must know how certain compilers work.
Especially Borland and Visual C++ are really common annoyances.
And I am not talking about language specific pragmas.

There are minor cases only the client registers a bug for example filled flask states.

And there could be easily some bug on certain state only one player receives.
Take Headhunter for example. A player receives rare mods and suddenly something fucks up because of a client bug and other players don't see anything strange.

Who knows, can't really remember.

Yeah, combat quotes are gold too
- wish I had a limit break
- I can still hear where you are (when you shoot them in the eyes)
- Nothing wrong with you a critical to the eyes won't cure
- You fight bravely--I will eat your courage. The Shamans will sing of my victory

no i don't
i just fix bugs for living as a day job

do you?

explain how you can "detect" this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5mT6zF8RyA

and especially this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ij3Dn7TtLk

good we have streaming and youtube nowadays, developers can actually see what players see
We already had the carrion queen damage bug that affected all of us. I can't recall any other damage bug with proof which happened only to certain unlucky clients.

Damage is directly dealt by mobs. I really can't see any scenario where certain client actions can change dramatically some mob's damage; since this one is built in the mob and its mods.

About headhunter, is still a bug in their code which happens when client does some specific actions. It's unlikely only some specific clients can trigger that bug while other can't

I don't know if GGG checked about any damage bug on Atziri; but i'm pretty sure that many other players would face this damage bug too, just like LMP carrion queen one.

I'm not a tachinician or wathever; but in any game i played bugs on damage were always on game's code, never client sided. I remember in runes of magic mobs started to deal millions of damage to players for example, it was lol
