What I proposed was just to at least get some form of solidarity on the idea of a true SFL. What I proposed removes all forms of advantage (other than luck). Now it just feels like people want to stomp a league with their friends. If you just need trade removed then play the current leagues and don't trade. They aren't going to remove trade and buff drops just so you can stomp content with your buddies in a SELF FOUND league. Seriously...

I want to compete as a solo player on fair terms, which was the single reason I had supported this remotely. Being able to battle my finds and crafts against other self finders on a ladder.

I truly hope your the only one who feels that way xserpant.

If it is competetional fairness you are after, your suggestion is probably the best one possible. But I don't think too many people think alike. Just for the sake of standing on equal grounds, players wouldn't be able to play with friends, would have to grind endlessly, wouldn't be able to show off some of their finds, or their builds, or their MTX's. This sounds like a very dull experience to me.

I'm not saying it doesn't have its merits, but it is a game after all, and what you say seems to suck all the fun out of it.

I would prefer an Account bound league myself. I don't know who coined the term SFL but I've probably been guilty of following the herd just for the slight chance that we may get a more legit ladder with a more pure (not perfect) ranking system.

I don't have a problem with cullers. They do it in hardcore. What is so hardcore about that?

Grouping is important to me, as I would want to form a guild in this league. I have no interest in playing isolation mode 100% of the time.


The most frustrating part is I'm not playing now because there is no league that suite me.

I refuse to play anything non hc.
Hc is full of store bought items and cheaters and botted gear and ladder winners.
I don't play Ambush because it isn't hc
I don't restart Invasion because the League is half over.

In a SFL or Acc bound league, I can take my precious time and actually remain competetive
and since it would be a perm league, I wouldn't not play because season half over ect/

The problem is that the party mechanics will need recoding and that's something GGG won't do.

Min/Max level party limits
Min/max area level party limits
Fully instanced loot,that is NEVER seen by others,not on log out,not on a timer,not anything.


Without mechanics like that the league will just be one big lift,boost,twink league.
