It's official, devs are satisfied with the overall state of the game

Try D3. different concept but cool droprates. you find cool stuff the whole day but for the OP stuff with perfect rolls for your build you have to grind. good balance.

Saying they don't care about the game and are in for the money is pretty insulting in my opinion. I doubt Chris would have spent all his savings if all he wanted was to make money. The core members of GGG certainly care a lot about the game.

On topic:

I really wish they would change their stance on desync. In my opinion it is unacceptable to accept desync in favor of 'hardcore' game mechanics.

I defend this game on some subjects. For example, the argument that drops are bad is very irritating for a player like me who plays self-found because the drops are ok for a self-found player. The drops seem to suck because a lot (majority?) of players trade and then wonder why they don't find upgrades.

I also criticise... for example, I hate the cost of endgame mapping for a solo player. However, I wouldn't write a thread about it because I play solo, and therefore it is something I am indirectly accepting due to my playstyle and choices.

Calling for change can be good, but not when everything you call for is already available in other games. Let Poe be different and fill its role.

I don't think the game is perfect but wow, if you think someone has to be in denial to enjoy PoE you are just as bad as the white knights you claim to hate.

Feeling defensive about something I said ?

I play solo self found as well and I'm fine with the drop rate.......

Any change/tweak/fix I've supported benefits the community as a whole.You'll be pressed to find a thread started by myself calling for broad stroke changes or tailoring the game just for my handsome self.

Are you suggesting,as Stormyknight is,that I have started threads like you describe or even threatened GGG with my toys or whined for more ?

Though you could be right,I have whined for a more fun,more robust,more satisfying and more optimizable game for everyone and I've posted in the appropriate threads with opinion,some fact and even some suggestions for almost two years and before that my game clans leader did the posting as he was our alpha tester.

A little logic/common sense will tell you the devs are not satisfied with the overall state of the game.


If they were satisfied with the state of the game, they wouldn't be constantly patching, adding, and changing things. Constantly.


I would say the vast majority of players are more satisfied with the game than the developers are.


There are just some people who like to do nothing better than complain about everything, and they always seem to know just how to 'fix' whatever the problem is, which is odd since there is no way in hell they have any real grasp of the situation. Sadly they do not appear bright enough to realize this.

Ugh don't give people this advice...
In D3 RoS you wait for legendaries to drop. This happens once every 1-2 hours and generally they are trash. That's it. There's nothing else. At least in PoE you can drop orbs and rares have meaning.
