[1.1.2] 2 Glacial Cascade builds [EB - MoM - AA] and [Evasion - AA - 3x60% auras] - 13.04.2014

Looks good. Not sure that +40% Evasion is worth the points, though. Arctic Armor is enough of a defense on it's own, at level 20+.

What I'd really suggest, is getting Vaal Pact. Since this spells is an AoE and is further split in parts, you'd more than double your Life Leech with VP.

You can remove some damage / cast speed for now, and get VP.

Because you either go all-the-way with crit, or don't bother. It gets you more DPS, but it's always at the cost of defences. Also, Reflect :D

Links in my Taryn are GC - faster casting - Pcoc - crit damage - life leech - added chaos

not really sure how to utilize the 5link in my defiance atm, for now I have there a single target arctic breath - faster casting - iir - culling - cold pen; also tried arctic breath with chain+lmp for clearing offscreen packs, and pcoc ice spear. I still prefer having pcoc in my main link though.

Im open for criticism if anyone has any advice on how I could make this better :)

Don't use Taryn's. There, it's better :)

When such a large chunk of your damage is Chaos or Physical, you want Cast Speed and SPELL Damage. Cold Damage is worth like half for you.

Haha thanks, yeah you're right, I'm planning to get rid of Taryn once i get a 6l defiance :)

I'm trying one, the damage isn't bad, but as AOE kinda sucks, its just too small, have to recast/repositioning too many times to kill all the mobs ( it really needs lmp ), it might be good for single target. I'm doing the mom build tree to use my 6l carcass and not the defiance, but i think ill switch to storm call while waiting for lighting ball in the next patch. Forgot to say that even the mana cost is high...

Not sure if you seen it,
But I love the cascade for its mass hits per cast that are physical
I punishcurse myself with shackles of the wrackles
and all my cwdt gems explodes when my cascade impacts a monster, for a 1000loh-spell/curses/disco

ofc, not telling your build needs this total change, just telling
mebe you could just use a little lvl1 punishment on yourself for a nice curse+buff autocasting

e/your life-mom-armor wil have np sustaining the reflected phisical damage
you can ezz get a 4utility skills casted every 1.5sec, without even harming your defences

i am around lvl 60 with your build and it works great. One Question in you Tipps i read following:
+20% AoE on Carcass jack and +12% on the skill tree counters the -30% from Concentrated Effect, that's all I want, that's all I need. Increasing it more could be a bad thing considering how this skill works.


I actual use Increased Area of Effect with Quality and its much faster. Why is Increasing the Area a bad thing?

I Played with conc Effect Only and it was a lot slower because i had to run to every monster
