If you look at the passive skill tree, you will see there are alot of good efficient critical strike chance nodes available e.g. Assassination, the two Bloodthirst Nodes and Mental Acuity. Getting multiplier on the other hand is a different story, throathseeker gives 30 percent but you have to waste a tonne on bad 10 percent nodes to get there. Because of this i would value multiplier higher on an amulet. Considering you can get high crit chance through those standard passive nodes and with your power charges. And you get up to 70 crit multiplier on an ammie which is insane in the membrane, though you will need ilvl 74 atleast to get this roll.

Tried many ammys with a lot of different combos. On ammy Crit multi > critchance. Always.

this build still viable after all the patches?

Just need to be wary of lightning thorns when using chain.

If I have the mana to sustain it, is it better to have LMP or GMP?

I ask because I dps down groups quickly already with LMP. GMP reduces the Projectile damage more than LMP and costs more.

Also:
5L setup is PS + LMP + Chain + Life Leach + Wep Elemental

Is this still the best recommended setup? Or has something changed?

You can use GMP if you are able to handle the manacosts for sure.
You get 2 extra projectiles with can Chain 2 times and crit.

Im still using 5L Armor like you do but have fasterattacks instead of lifeleech in.

A friend found a GMP yesterday and let me use it. Its not as high of level as my LMP when I swapped them out (I leveled it to 10 then equipped to the 5Link) so I kept that in mind. My tooltip DPS went down as expected but I found that in large packs I was able to kill faster despite the lower level gem. Overall I was pleased but I honestly don't know if its necessary. The reason I don't think its necessary is because of mid sized groups (2-4) are much slower to kill with GMP. I almost feel like LMP is just better for all around play. Ill re-post if I find this isn't the case with more play.

I just got lvl 70 and need some help.

Like Krip said, this biuld is really very gear dependent.

I dont have luck to find usable things soo i fell like a lvl 40 trying to do lvl 60+ areas =( Act 3 merciles is a curse for me...

I'm running 5 auras atm Anger, Wrath, Purity, Discipline and hatred (with no mana problems).

Stats:
Armor: 2228 (4107 with Montel Shell)
Life: 2892
Resists: 77% Fire, Cold and Light and 24% chaos (whit Purity)
DPS: Single target 2172 and 882 Fork AOE (with 5 power charge stacks)


Any can look my gear and tell what im doing wrong? What is more import to upgrade atm? I found a exalted today and maybe i can use this to upgrade a little... what's more import?



Obs.: I use all my orbs trying to link this chest and failed :/
