Overall it's a good guide. Just reached 80k doublestrike tooltip (Buffed) without ming's. Buying Ming's soon which should push it past 90k.

I like this build a lot and have little trouble soloing maps. The only times I die is when i'm overconfident. One thing I do wonder is how you guys manage to get such high dps numbers on your stuff. I would say my gear isn't bad but I'm far off any of the numbers thrown around here. Also using the offensive IR version of the tree. My gear for reference:



I'm currently trying to get my armor to 5 Link but don't have the necessary fusings yet but should make it till the end of the week. Not sure if I should put Power Charge on Critical or Faster attacks int he 5th link. Faster attacks would up my dps but with power charge on crit I could stop relying on assassin's mark for the power charges and generate charges during curse immune maps. As long as I'm not cursed with vulnerability I also have little problem running Blood Rage.`
Once I've done that I was thinking of switching out my belt and saving up for a new dagger. When looking for a dagger in poe.xyz.is what does pdps mean?

I'd appreciate any help towards choosing better gear, I'm unsure though if I want to go lightning coil already have little mana as it is and running purity of lightning wouldn't help my dps and survivability isn't really the problem. Also, would it make sense to get the extra frenzy charges that are easy to get?

Just reached 51 and slowly feeling the weaknes of this build. It is prone to high hit attacks that go through Eva. Since block is rather low and no AA or MoM(Cloak) you take alot of damage.

and played 90% selfound with really crappy gear to be honest, bought a dagger for 5 chaos in merc act2 cause need dps for weaver, and just bought this now that im in maps



12 chaos found it on poe.zyx it had 2 socket so i got so lucky!! :D

i guess ill put in an add. acc gem for the acc and crit chance

You are definitely a bit squishy mid-game but will slowly become stronger as you take more life/block passives and get better gear. Once you start finishing up the tree you are actually extremely difficult to kill.

You definitely need a weapon upgrade!

As for gems I would say it's between Power Charge on Crit and Crit Damage for you, Faster Attacks isn't even in the equation. Test them both and choose which you like better.

Since you already have an armor you want to 5L just use that. You can grab the extra frenzy charges if you want to, the builds I made are a guideline, feel free to change it up as much as you want.

pDps is Physical DPS. You don't care about elemental damage on weapons at all so make sure you only look at the Physical DPS column!

Here's my gear 80k double strike, 12k ST (with vaal haste and atziri flask) without it I'm about 60k/9k. Sitting in my hideout I'm at 35.5k Double Strike and 6k ST



As an offensive IR build I think you should be going for a 5l lightning coil (It helps way too much), but the MAIN difference in our gear is our daggers. I have a 255 PDPS 8.75 dagger, AND bino's that I alternate between when I'm bored. As long as you're clearing maps, keep at it!


ALSO! I really dislike life gain on hit on Spectral Throw, OP says it's good however I think it isn't necessary. You can purchase a Doryani's phys belt (For about 1-2 ex) and it'll give 1% leech, plus Atziri's flask gives you a decent amount as well. I don't think LGOH is necessary unless you're on Beyond.

I went and got myself a new dagger which increased my dps from 3.3k to 4.1k:



Only "downside" is that I have 5% less crit chance but that is more than made up for with the faster attack speed. I realize it's not super endgame but it was the best I could afford for now. Should also get the 5L soon.

The doryani's is something I hadn't thought about and since I am looking for a new belt I might just go for it once I've gotten the fusings for the 5L. With it I could probably change my shield to be evasion based with more life and less dependant on high ele res.

Was also thinking of ditching the LGoH as I can easily run blood rage and should have enough life leech to sustain myself. Will try it out and post here as soon as I can tell how it works.
