FoxTactics "Lightning Ninja" Arc build 18k+ : No update for 1.2

hi,
first of all - thanks for the guide, its very informative and i enjoyed reading it,

i played like a year ago, so if anyone could help me out with 1 little thing,
fox posted passive for level 92, but i have no clue what to level first (for level 20, 30, and so on),
if any1 could tell me key passive skills, or post a guide for level 30 and 60 so i could know little better i'd appreciate that alot.. thanks

ye ive noticed that BUT i need a better guide line i guess :p, im sticking to his key points though (health xD)
Im loving this spec, at 81 now. And for any that only can 5l, Leave elemental Prolif to your 6th if u can. Lightning Pen trumps Proflif IMO. Downed mobs and bosses a lot faster.

Now try to cordinate some MF into the build. Kind of a pain, took out the totem cause it would usually die pretty quickly and just went arc-iir/iiq-culling and works nicely.

I'm using Ziggy's variation as a starting guide, but they are similar anyway:

As a witch:

- Go right and get mana nodes and life nodes.
- Get the lightning damage nodes / spell damage nodes on the left of witch, for easier act 1/2.
- Continue the right path, took the Written in Blood life circles, and the Alacrity Dex node.
- Moving down to get stuff in the Shadow area. I skipped the spell damage since I already facerolled the content, even until Cruel A3 with only those nodes in the Witch area.
- Get the EB, but I took it later after I had gotten Discipline.
- Continue down along the top-right of Scion area, get the life & mana nodes, and journey down to the Harrier node.
- Make your way to the left side of Witch area. Get the Purity of fresh for moar life.
- Continue going left, get the Holy Strength life nodes.
- Dive into Templar area.

I'm still LV5x, but I guess I'd get all the Templar's goodies until lv 65, and take those auras and Inner Force nodes, as needed, along the way, and maybe some more spell damage nodes for the maps ?

thanks twintales - appreciate that alot,

i have a question regreding self buffs and inner force,

1)ive noticed that inner force(and all nodes like it), do increase buffs BUT it doesnt show on tool tip - why is that?(for example my mp regain buff description didnt go up on tool tip but it actually went up on character screen) -
the reason im asking that is because other buff such as arctic armour isnt shown on character screen, and i assume the nodes increase apply to him to, (minus X physical/fire damage - i just wonder what are the real numbers?),

2)do buffs (like arctic) benefit from spell increase? cause if thats right(as i assume it is, high level arctic armour actually is like -1000 physical instead of -250 as shown on tooltip),

thanks in advance,

kicking ass so far with the build - ive noticed someone posted a link (im searching it now) on some page with alternative nodes build - is it better?
1. From what ppl have said on the older time discussion, those buff nodes affect YOU, not the buff itself. So the tooltip cannot display the real number since it know only what affect them directly.

2. Unless the wording read "Increase Spell Effect" or similar, it would not affect Arctic armour. All the nodes (?) now said "spell damage", which are not the case here ?

You could compare it with the flask nodes / affixes. Those with "Increase Flask Effect" affect both recovering aspect and the buff aspect since they both are "effect of flasks", while those with "Increase recovery" affect only recovery.

I'm lv.60 now, facerolled as always...

Looking back at the tree again, those shield nodes near the avatar of fire is really interesting. More block and more defence.... which would go along well with Arctic Armour, either with a big shield with armor, or a hybrid armor/es shield. Hmmmm...

I have to sacrifice some planned damage nodes thought :\

Hey Fox,

i really wanna thank you for the efforts and showing me the way into wicth. I usually only play melees but this build is easy and cheap. Even without all the Empower and 20/20 stuff it works quite will. I got my hands on the belt you suggested and also on the armour, which i bought for 25c and with about 1000 alts I was able to to 6S and then 6L it. Hell, that was fun. The first time I tried it and it worked quite cheap for me.

Hope to get the 20/20 arc soon and then I will progress with empower and the other support skills.

Lvl 70 now - until here it was quite easy and (for a melee player) really much fun.

THANK YOU!!!
