Where is your Melee Physical damage gem? You should be using that instead of Weapon Elemental Damage in a 4-link. The DPS of Infernal Blow scales of your physical damage, elemental damage is secondary.

Also, get a better weapon.

Passive tree: drop the 0.8% regen node at marauder start and the 12% melee phys with shield node at duelist and take 2 phys nodes in mace circle left of marauder. That mace circle, with the 2 notable nodes, is the best raw dps source on the passive tree.

And I recommend using heavy strike or molten strike for single target damage if you have only a 4-link chest.

Could you have a look at my setup.
My questions:

1. Skill tree
I have maxed all defensive skills as far as I see. The next block chance is with Command of Steel 7 points far away which is too far imo.
I would skill dmg next, but which direction should I go?
Catalyse, Bone Breaker, Skull Cracking (Strong Arm?). What do you think about Unyielding vs Blunt Instrument?
And I'm also super low on dex (74 dex) which results in a low level faster attacks, maybe I should add +30dex as a skill point.

2. Gear
I had this armour as a 5 socket with 4 link and spend 1 ex on 6 socketing it but I wasn't successfull :). Should I save 350 jew orbs to master a 6 sockets and try fusing a 5 link? Or save the cash for a new 5 link armour.
I'm planing on moving the aura's from the shield to the boots. I could add Hatred in the green slot (don't know if I can support this mana wise) or add H. of Ash and go for a RRR/blue setup in the boots. I like the Faster Attacks Leap slam but maybe I could miss the Faster attacks.
In the shild I could setup spell echo, enduring cry, blood magic.

Take the nodes with most phys damage. You need enough dex to use a lvl20 faster attacks, so take the node and get more dex on gear.

For socketing, it has nothing to do with knowledge, it's simply your choice. You can socket yourself and maybe get a 6s under 350 or maybe get unlucky and spend more, or invest the 350 to be sure. Your call.

hi, it seems like i added most of the block nodes but my block rate is only 55% with tempest shield on. how can i reach max block ? my passive tree is below. any idea how i can improve my skill tree?

You need Rumi's Concoction for max block. Your tree is fine.

That is correct, you cannot. At least not with this build.

If you want a max block build from passives alone, after patch 1.3. when block was radically nerfed in the tree, it can be done only by massively sacrificing both life and dps. And even then, I'm not sure if you would have literally max block 75/75. Myb something like 65+ or 70 at best. I mean, just check the passive tree and do the math yourself :)

Intuitive leap will be used below duelist to get the nearby endurance charge and notable mana node. I dislike the fact that Faster attacks will have to be replaced by Fortify, but for a tanky build like this, we are forced to use the new suppoort gem like that. Will probably result in a slight dps decrease, but the build will be even more tanky, especially with the fortify nodes below duelist.

I am VERY excited for PoE 2.0!
