With the new tree, tempest shield is not needed, since you can get max block just from the tree. Determination + hatred is the best option imo. You can run herald of ash with those 2 only if you take reduced mana reservation nodes.

Hey, for the first time I'm leveling an alt (my other char is a 87 FP Witch), and I wanted it to be a melee tank, also because I got the Aegis to drop on my Witch lol

So, the thing is I'm having some serious trouble with mana. I'm currently lv34 using IB+Splash+Mana Leech. Even if I take Splash off, it's still pretty bad mana wise :S

Any advice on leveling this char? I play solo. Many thanks on advance :D

You have problems with mana in a 3-link with mana leech as one of the links? What? How is that even possible? :/

okay thnx for info about dex i tho you would need way more than 109 dex but i can craft just dex on my ring and i gonna get 130 overall so thats solved about dps man i cant w8 to get 6L i have now 5L and missing elemental dmg i bet its gonna boost my dps up for like 3k? im now at 7700

At what point can I safely run Atziri? I'm 74 at the time of this post but I'm not sure if there's a certain amount of resistances I need, etc.

Edit: also, why are you using the links of Purity of Fire + Enduring Cry + Added Fire Damage in your shield?

If your current DPS is 7.7k, I don't think you'll get 3k more just from WED, but it could be something near that. It will definitely boost your dps significantly.

There's a few things you need for Atziri: high life, max res preferably with lvl20 purity of fire and/or purity of lightning, max spell block you can get. 74 is still too low definitely, but at around 85 you could do her.

I use added fire to swap it with melee splash for single target damage, like when doing atziri bosses. Purity of fire I swap with determination when doing atziri. So basically, those gems are there only for swapping. Enduring cry is there cause I had nowhere else to put it.

Can you invest a lil bit of time just to give an alternative for Facebreaker without weapons tree or tell us what to take off from your Bringer of Rain to make it optimal?
