Rima is just a bad boss fight.
And I'm saying that as someone who's beaten her regularly without any trouble. The room she's in is always big and has small rooms all around. I stand at one end and proceed to fire projectiles towards the other end for a while, I then go into one of the small rooms to the side so I can see where Rima is without having direct LoS. Then I go to the furthest corner in the room away from her and repeat. It takes time, the only reason I do it is because her traps are batshit insane and not in a good way. But that, to me, seems like the very definition of a bad boss fight. A fight that's easily cheesed and a pure gear-check to bear normally. Rima fight is easy, however her infinite traps should be removed to reflect player attributes.
(and also disable the permaspam traps, if that is considered a bug) A cold resis potion will literally trivialize this fight beyond easy. (removes the cold curse and gives almost immunity if you have some leach) Not sure why this boss is considered broken, except for the permatrap spam? Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

look i have killed Rima probably over 100 times. have died to her a few times as well. i think she could be easily farmable in invasion if you geared for it HOWEVER SHE IS GLITCHY AS FCK thats the main point i think players have a problem with. or perhaps it is the map is glitchy. she flips her shit if you get her near the wall corners while standing on the other side. this is, of course, avoidable. she also spams so many traps that they don't even render. if you are experienced in the fight, it is no problem. you can of keep track of what is happening. if you are not experienced in the fight, then it just looks like Rima is humping the air and all the sudden the ground is exploding in 23497349729479 cold dmg. so i would say at best it is sloppy design, and at worst neglectful. it's not that it is a hard fight, it's that it is hard in the wrong ways. this is the first league i have ever played as a softcore character. it is because GGG is adding bosses that are not only sloppily balanced, but sloppily implemented. glitchy, spastic, and have unpredictable behaviors that interact with the map layout to cause their AI to tweak and they spam 9792375932 thingies and you would have noooooo clue unless you already killed it 1000x times in a softcore league. evidence for people who think i haven't killed her a bajillion times:
