I was just thinking last night about putting swapping the added lightng dmg for added chaos. I think it will work well. I'm not getting the multp. stacks anyway, so no harm. I think, so far, the new tree will benefit the build and make it even better with some tweaking.

" He said in the last page that he doesn't really play PoE anymore, so I'm not sure you'll get a new version from Izno. The tree I worked on yesterday tries to keep to the original as much as possible. I'd like to hear ideas (or optimization) from you guys before I spec my character into it though.

Hello i love the Build you have done here and i have been following it for a coupe of days now, But as i got to abit higher lvl i dident realy like the " cloack of defiance" choice,
So i took my old Infernal mantle and put it on, ofc i had bellow 35% mana with hase, clarity and lightning shield on, but between the 2 shield clusters above the templar in the passiv tree there are 3 nodes with reduced mana reserv and with a reduce mana at lvl 16 ( 75% multiplier) you are acctualy above the 35% mana and do not take the increased 100% spell damage. To counter the mana regen problem that you dont get now from the " cloack of defiance", 1. Infernal mantle gives ~553Es = more mana = more regen. 2. The ring Dream Fragments Sapphire ring gives 50% mana regen and 20% increased max mana. and with that i am currently over regenerating the mana that im spending so im not falling down under the 35% mana mark. but running ( reduced regen maps) with this setup is abit tricky untill you get more regen on rares equips later or use the Lavianga's Spirit. ( side note ) im also running Rainbowstride conjure boots with this build and they are great :) Any thought about this ? And sorry i dont know how to link images and thing on the forum, <3 |

" The question is: did this build generate 3 shock stacks before? Because I do not think this is the case. If you shock-stack maximum 2x the damage would increase 60%. Now the damage is already increased by 50% for just 1 shock stack

" Probably with this patch, dropping ALD for ACD is a good choice, if the mana regenration allows this. My build will be posted below, looking back its actually quite similar to yours. Try to spot the differences and see what you like better ;)

This build comes in many forms and many people have posted their versions. Your version seems completely fine but its somewhat different than my idea of the build: high damage to clear maps in 5 minutes. Your build is maybe somewhat safer, and it will be slower on map-clears " I made this tree in about 10 minutes, trying to keep it as much thesame as my initial build. It might not be optimal, but you can give your own twist to it NEW TREE

" I could not agree more! If this build is optimized by some good players, it should be one of the top builds for short leagues (1-2 week) or even 4month league. This patch has not made it worse in any case

" Lots of questions lots of remarks, where to start :D First off thanks for trying this biuld and giving your input. Alot of these things have already been discussed, but i understand you cannot scroll through like 25 pages of text ^^ I have played with several different chests with this build (i have tested alot of things people came up with) The most time I spent with an Armor/ES based chest with 105 max life, 250 ES and triple-ress As my mana regen increased, I switched this for a cloak of defiance. 1 Thing to keep in mind, if you want to play with a COD, you HAVE TO HAVE a lavriangra's flask. You cannot afford to lose your incinerate stacks when taking a big hit. You could also play with ligthning coil, I think that it is a very good chest, but quite expensive. Playing with infernal mantle, I dislike heavily for a load of reasons: - 100% crit chance = USELESS - conversion of fire damage to chaos is not really something you actually want - 100% spell damage taken on low mana...OUCH - no defensive properties, no armor, no reduced damage take in any way I hope I can convince you that this chest is trash, im sorry to be so harsh but a normal armor/ES chest with max life is better than this already. When you have 300%+ mana regen with a laviangra, go for COD Second point is the dream fragments. This has been proposed many times. So why is the ring bad for this build? - Its an item for CI, the frozen immunity is quite useless with alot of max HP - 50% mana regen sounds like alot, but my yellow rings have 68% mana regenration - doesn't give max HP - doesn't give resistance - no dex so what you need to have on a ring: 40%+ total resist, 50+ max hp, 60%+ mana regen, dex, if possible: cast speed for reduced regen maps, make sure you have a lower level of arctic armor in your bag (about lvl 8-9) Quite a few people have posted their biuld with rainbowstride, so its certainly a legit option. I would be worried about your max life (the build is already running quite a few uniques!!), your resistance and your dex/str and you can link images by using [IMG.][/IMG.] (remove the dots) and posting your link (from imgur or whatever) between that Isnobest. As for now, this is my 103pt/lvl 83-ish build for the upcoming HC:
Mind Barrier might not be as attractive as I hyped it to be, considering how we should have ~100% block to spell block mechanics.
