Shockingly strong flamethrower build (Incinerate + Three Dragons)

Which kind of Doryani's Invitation should I pock with incinerete and three dragon ? Lightning or fire?

always remember that you still deal fire damage. Despite the fact that you shock with your fire damage, it still counts as fire damage.

So, if you go for an doryani's Inv, take the fire

just crafted this beauty for my tempest shield :D



has the added benefit of not reserving any more mana EDIT nvm it does 3% more damnit!

im using the three dragons agai now i reached level 92 and my build is finished so i wanted max dps



runing those auras + tempest shield

plus i can also run any purity aura if i switch my gems around because of the white socket, purity of elements makes ele weakness maps easy and i can get 84% max res out of them which helps alot vs hard bosses

this is my favourite setup for incinerate with three dragons



still not bored of this build :D

I am wondering how much is your survavibililty withou life leech.
I can easily sustain all without mana leeche even in worse scenarios ( 240 mana regen sec).

I have also Cybil's that I swap with a 100% spell dmg wand and cybill's paw not corrupted and life leech on chest.
My dps on tooltip is low btw 2000. I'will try speel echo but I am in dubt what wull be better.
Cybil's paw + no life leech on chest
Wand + life leech on chest.

Other thought :
are your corrupted Cybil with life leech better than the original ? Does the bonus is applied even the incinerete gem is on another peace of gear?

actually i want to get tank with gg dps. for now tooltip dps is 2700 on low-life. sometimes i die of stun. in any other ways i can facetank many difficult situations.
my close plans-get 4th aura-haste, rework tree a bit and start running AA.

but oh god where do i start, your armour isnt 20% q yet and you arent using a cybils paw.

i have 505 mana regen which is just enough in half regen maps with using laviangas spirit flask in dangerous situations with 21/20 arctic armour and my 50 mana per cast incinerate with 17 casts per sec

cybils is a must with +8 life per hit on this build, the life gained is applied instantly and with 1% fire dmg leeched as life this is easily enough when you use echo + faster casting + haste

dunno what is with linked build. okay i'll say in another words.
i run grace and ir. for now 7k armor. 74 block/61 spellblock. i just think of using chayula and dream fragments. i run lowlife. tooltip dps 2700 in a 5link shavr. also i use discipline that gives me 3k es total. mana regen is at 124 per sec with lvl 19 clarity. the main idea that i wish to make real-freeze with lightning damage(5% which seems too low and ofc can't freeze bosses,dunno how to improve it) and as for manaleech from berek's grip procs(5% leech mana from shocked) with 25% shock chance it works ok. with doryani belt leech for es is nice. if suddenly i lose shield(happens very rare) cybil's can leech my hp on hit. so seems pretty tanky. bad side-1shots and freeze/stun for now. but i guess chayula and fragments will help that way.

as for second test-i wanted to try arc with added cold. to get freeze and shock in same time. still lost in thoughts about best of these two. i mean arc+add cold///// incinerate+dragons+add light.

can't compare dps for now

That cybil's paw is fucking godlike. Ive been searching a good corrupted one a long time, you seem to have hit the jackpot
Your skill links seem to be really perfect, thats exactly what I would be going for
And yes, this build was the most fun build i've ever played in my POE life =)



When using cybil's paw, the survivibility is completely fine. However when more is required, you can always try using the lifeleech gem to support your incinerate and increase your surivibility. I dont think you can play incinerate without using a cybils paw

240 mana/sec sounds like alot. But actually you want to try to push it to around 350ish with 10 casts/second on incinerate and MOM chest.

I havent played POE for quite a while, so i do not know how good spell echo is. However, i read the posts on the last pages kindly posted by people that play my build, and they explain that spell echo is very strong (what i also would expect it to be).

Well the uncorrupted cybil's paw intrinsic stat (life leech per attack) is COMPETELY useless. it doesn't do anything at all for this build. So having it corrupted into doing something, is always alot better than nothing =)

PS. try to get some life on your gloves :)
I think for 4-5 chaos you can buy some decent gloves



Your build is compleeetely different, so its hard for me to make good comments. I have no tested anything remotely close to what you are doing. The goal of your build is also very different from mine, the idea behind my build is that is cheap, strong and fast-clearing. Your build seems to be very expensive (nothing wrong with that though!)

My initial thoughts:
-Why are you using shavronne's? I dont see the benefit of that. I would think a cloak of defiance or a lightning coil would enhance your survivability greater than a shavronne's.
-Low mana regen in tree should pose a problem with this build. Are you reaching 250/s?
You seem to solve this issue with a berek's grip. I however, don't like this ring at all. Of all the extrinsic stats, there's only 2 useful ones: 38 life (thats nothing!) and 5% mana leech. I think thats a waste of a ring slot.
-Try to get a corrupted stone of lahzwar with 4% block
-Consider using inner force

welcome to POE and thanks for using my build! :)

Regarding Avatar of Fire: the talent did surely cross my mind, however I decided against it. The 'only' use for this talent is that the added damage from 'added lightning damage' support gem will be converted to fire (which is only a small proportion of your damage). You will also lose the ability to freeze when blocking an attack (with tempest shield)

I will drop "Avatar of Fire" from the passive skill tree and see how it works. I am still leveling and trying to earn enough chaos/exalted orbs to buy the gear and gems recommended by you. I am really enjoying playing with your build.
