It focuses on damage more than crit, and has a bit of mana leech through Essence Sap + Claws of the Pride.


Looks like you've come up pretty similar to me. A few different clusters but the bones are the same.

It's looking like the only real difference is that you went with Assassination and I went with Swagger. How is the build working out for you so far?

And do either of you guys have any recommendations for gear?

I haven't distributed my skill points/gems for 2.0 yet but I guess at this stage the gear will remain the same.

Will probably replace melee splash with fortify in my links and see how it goes and hoping to be able to run hatred (or grace if needed), herald of ash and arctic armour.

What would be a good gem setup with the new changes...?

I have been wondering, if this build would work with wild strike aswell? i've been trying to find a good wild strike build, and i am wondering if it matters if you switch out the skill that you use in this build with wild strike?

Vaal pact make your leech into life on hit (if u dont want the details) but it based on the amount of dmg so if u hit mob for 100dmg & u have 5% leech you will get 5hp instatly.
Leech rate & amount of it doest count, they only affect your leech without vaal pact.

i think you need more HP% node so you can survive burst damage,you have to sacrifice those crit chance and aspd node,as long as you got 25-30% crit chance with 8-9 attack per second and on your character stat you are more than good to go,later you can go invest to mana reserved(charisma) node if you running hatred and herald of ash,or just physical damage and a little bit more HP if you only use hatred which is i think the best option right now since 4 skill node for charisma and buying level 3 or 4 enlighten are kinda expensive.

it's not better than yours but,you can use it as refrence,i'm using the deadendking 1.3 build as a base.
